Christianity Oasis Forum

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Hi All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

I highly recommend you read and study all of the following. It will strengthen your faith if you do. Yes, it's long, and in two parts, but it will feed your soul. It is not stubble, it is hay.

2011 Easter Resurrection Presentation
The Glorious Riches of our Inheritance in the Resurrection of Christ Jesus our Lord
Greeting:
Hello all you out there that have gathered in the name of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, assuring us that He is right here with us, as where two or more are gathered in His name He is there. Thank you for attending His church, The Church of Christianity Oasis in Him.
Call to Prayer
Heavenly Father, we just praise you today, we worship you; we give you all the glory. Father, we love and adore you, praise your Holy Name of God and our Father, and give thanks to you.
Father, we gather in the name of Jesus this evening to learn about the great riches in glory that you have freely provided for us in Christ Jesus our Lord by raising Him from the dead.
Dearest Father, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Lord God Almighty Love Dad, we pray this evening that you would open up the eyes of our understanding of you and your wonderful Words, that you would enlighten our eyes to the great hope of our calling and the exceeding greatness of the riches you have provided for us as an inheritance among the saints in light, by the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from the dead.
Lord of Glory, come in and be among us. Rest upon us, anoint us within and upon with your Holy Spirit. Be with us this evening in the joyful manifestation of your glorious presence of your most perfect love, and fill our hearts with gladness. Move upon us this evening to understand that you made us living trees of righteousness, planted by your very hand, with your precious seed, which is The Word of God, Christ our Lord.
Thank you Father that you have torn away that which in times past has kept us separated from you, even the veil of our flesh which as a symbol was the curtain that kept us from entering the most Holy of Holy places, which is your presence. Thank you most Holy Heavenly Father for sacrificing your Holy Son Jesus; slaying His perfect sinless flesh, and separating His sinless soul from your presence until the law was satisfied, the just for our wickedness, accounting His death in body and soul as our death. Thank you Heavenly Father that you have destroyed our old sinful flesh and soul in the body of Christ Jesus, destroying the veil that has kept us separated from you. Thank you most Heavenly Father for making us also alive in Christ by raising Him from the dead and declaring Him to be your first born Son from the dead with power. Thank you Heavenly Father that you accounted his death as our death in Him and now also His resurrection, our resurrection in Him.
Thank you most Holy Heavenly Father, our glorious Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Lord God Almighty Love Dad, that in Christ Jesus we also have entered into your presence and become a partaker in the sprinkling of Christ’s blood upon the appointed places of your altar, upon your seat of mercy, and in front of it. Thank you most precious Father that through that precious blood of the lamb, you have made peace with us and
caused us not only to sit down in Christ Jesus in the Kingdom of Heaven by faith, but stand in your very presence, Holy and without condemnation, filled with all the fullness of your love. We praise you Lord! We give thanks to you Lord for the glorious tender mercy you have shown us by making us trees of righteousness, trees you have raised up and called the planting of the Lord, seed of your seed, The Word of God, The Word of Life, Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen and Amen!
My blessed brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, thank you so very, very much for tuning in. I pray our Lord give you ears to hear and eyes to see this evening, what great things belong to us by virtue of our Lord’s Resurrection, which also is accounted to us as our resurrection from the dead, because our old man was also crucified in Him. I pray that you awaken us completely this evening to our high calling of God in Christ Jesus, already alive in us now by the Spirit that He has given us.
I pray this evening that you understand that this work I do is the Lord’s work and He it is that is working through me to provide nourishment to His body, The Word of God seed that God Himself has planted within you. I pray that you understand that it is God Himself that has made you mighty in the Lord Jesus with all His mighty power in raising Christ Jesus from the dead and filled you, not only with the overflowing wonders of His faith, hope and love, but with joy in the understanding of who you have been made in Christ Jesus when God our Father raised Him from the dead, even as it has been written; Acts 17:28, For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
I would be amiss this evening if I didn’t take you on a journey through the Heavenly Holy of Holies first. I want you to get a taste of what it is like to stand in the presence of the Almighty God without fear, to look into the blazing eyes of His love totally free from all condemnation, already made perfect in His sight through the resurrection of our Lord from the dead.
Since we have been made alive in Christ Jesus from the moment he was resurrected from the dead and declared to be God’s first born Son with power, we have continued within Him in every good work including the cleansing of the Holy of Holies in Heaven.
I’m 60 years old now. I remember what it was like to have faith in God to get things for myself in the world. I had a very powerful faith. But I lived the life of the Lord for me instead of the other way around, the correct way, which is me living for the Lord. And honestly, even up to a couple of weeks ago I have never been able to see myself enter the Holy of Holies in Heaven without fear. Why? Because I never saw myself in Christ properly. When I tried to see myself enter Holy of Holies in Heaven and approach the Throne of Grace, I saw the imperfect me entering. That left me without confidence. I lacked confidence because I had a lack in understanding. I lacked the full assurance of faith.
The Apostle Paul tells us in the Book of Hebrews chapter 10, verse [22] that we are to draw near to God our Father with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
I couldn’t see myself in Christ Jesus properly. I could see Jesus standing in the clouds of Heaven. I understood and could see that His resurrection from the dead was my resurrection from the dead; but that is where my vision stopped. My problem was that I really didn’t see me in His resurrected, perfected Holy Body. I couldn’t see me in Him approaching the jeweled entrance of His Father’s Kingdom. I couldn’t see me in Christ walking the streets paved with gold with the great joy that I was about to enter the temple of the Most High. I couldn’t see myself in Christ sprinkle our blood on the horns of the altar. I couldn’t see me in Him sprinkle blood on the Mercy Seat toward the East. I couldn’t see me in Him sprinkle blood before the Mercy Seat seven times. I couldn’t see me in Christ our Lord when He looked up into the eyes of the Almighty God and saw His great joy in the person of Christ, and me in Him, having put away sin for all of us that died in Him, and raised in Him, once, for all, and forever!
The Apostle Paul said in Hebrews chapter 10, verse 14, that by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.
I could not feel the great joy Christ our Lord felt when He looked at His blood of atonement, which was our blood in Him, knowing that we, yes we were in Him forever because that blood bought us! It ripped us out of the kingdom of darkness and placed us in Him, alive in Him forever more, perfected in Him forever more, and moved out of darkness into His marvelous light forever more!
I could not see me in Christ in the Holy of Holies in Heaven walking in peace and love and joy in the knowledge that sinless blood was my blood in Him, and because of that blood I was free to walk in the great love presence of my Lord of Lords King of Kings Lord God Almighty Love Dad. I couldn’t see me walking around the Great Heaven of God and saying, because I am in Christ, all that I can see belongs to me because I’m an heir! I’m a joint heir with Christ because I was raised up in Him, made clean in Him, made righteous in Him, and glorified in Him.
I could not see me in Christ seated in Heavenly places. I could not see that it is in Him that I live, and move, and have my being! I could not see that it is in Him that we have been perfected forever. I couldn’t see that being in Him is a faith thing. In the mind of God everything about our old flesh and self have been settled forever, but that’s only the half of it. Our holiness, perfection, and glorification has also been settled in the mind of God Almighty forever!
No wonder Paul said for us to reckon ourselves dead to sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. The reckoning is a faith thing. Our being alive to God our Father in Christ Jesus is a faith thing! It’s has already been done! Our faith is now the substance of the things we hope for in Christ Jesus. It is the evidence of things not yet seen. By faith, we are in Christ now. By faith, we are perfect now! By faith we have the full assurance of our salvation now! By faith we walk happily into the joy filled presence of our glorious Father. We have been made more than able in Christ Jesus to approach Him in the full assurance of faith that all things He has are ours in Christ Jesus for the asking! We are no longer naked before Him, but clothed with the Spirit and the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have new clothing and a new mind. We are clothed with the glory of the Spirit of our living God and we have the mind of Christ!
Colossians 2:
[6] As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: [7] Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith in Him, as ye have been taught in Him, abounding therein with thanksgiving before God, in Him!
Jesus Christ! Lord of Lords! King of Kings! has risen from the dead and you are in HIM!!!! You are in HIM!!!
Being in Him is a now thing! Now we see ourselves in Him entering the Jeweled Gates of The Kingdom of Heaven carrying precious blood into the Temple of God, cleansing the way for is all to be restored into fellowship with our Almighty Father. In our Lord we stand joyfully in the presence of our Father. We have become steadfast and immovable having been made the righteousness of God IN CHRIST JESUS…, AND YOUR FATHER ALMIGHTY GOD IS SITTING THERE ON HIS THRONE LOOKING AT YOU, AND YOU CAN SEE THE JOY IN HIS FACE IN BEING AS WELL PLEASED IN YOU AS HE IS IN HIS FIRST BORN SON FROM THE DEAD, EVEN OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST BECAUSE WE ARE IN HIM! AND THAT IS WHO HE SEES IN YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE LIKE HIM! YOU ARE LIKE HIM IN GLORY! YOU ARE LIKE HIM IN SPIRIT! YOU ARE LIKE HIM IN THE MIND OF THE SOUL! WHOOO GLORY! THIS IS A NOW THING! THIS A FATIH THING, A REALITY NOW THING!
THERE IS NO FEAR IN YOU NOW BECAUSE YOU ARE STANDING IN CHRIST JESUS IN THE PRESENCE OF HE WHO IS THE ENTIRE, AND TOTAL, COMPLETE AND UTTER FLAWLESS PERFECTION OF THE INFINITE LOVE OF ALMIGHTY GOD, AND THAT SAME LOVE HE LOVED THE LORD JESUS WITH IS ALIVE IN YOU NOW BECAUSE YOU ARE ALIVE IN CHRIST JESUS NOW! LET US WALK IN THAT GLORY OF WHO WE HAVE BEEN MADE IN CHRIST JESUS BY FAITH, NOW!!!
ALL FEAR IS GONE! IT IS FINISHED! DOUBT HAS DISAPPEARED! THERE IS ONLY LOVE! WE HAVE BEEN MADE ONE IN CHRIST WHO IS IN GOD IN THE HOLY AND GLORIOUS PERFECTION OF THE LOVE OF GOD ALMIGHTY!
Our faith is made mighty through Christ when we see ourselves walking in Heaven in Him.

NOW HERE THIS! NOW HERE THIS!
Gal.3
[27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ YOU…YOU! YOU have put on Christ. AND THE GLORY THE FATHER HAS GIVEN HIM HE HAS GIVEN YOU!
WHEN YOU WALK THE GOLDEN STREETS OF THE HEAVEN OF GOD EVERYONE THERE WILL RECOGNIZE YOU AS ONE OF THE REDEEMED BECAUSE YOU HAVE PUT ON CHRIST!
IF YOU WALK IN THAT FACT DOWN HERE THAT YOU HAVE PUT ON CHIRST, THERE IS NO CREATURE IN HEAVEN OR HELL YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID OF.
Listen to what the Apostle Paul said to us.
Rom. 8
[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Why would Paul say that if he hadn’t laid hold on Eternal Life.
You see, one of biggest problems for Christians in their walk of faith is that few have really been exposed to the greatness of the Christian message. They have never laid hold on eternal life. It’s greater, much greater than we have been led to believe. And when we have heard the greatness of the gospel we must lay hold on our place in Christ Jesus. We must lay hold on eternal life. Paul tells Timothy it is a faith thing, the kind of thing I have been preaching this evening. Paul said to Timothy.
1 Tim. 6
[12] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
And Paul said it of others walking upright in the Lord. He basically said, “Look Timothy at all those around you.
[19] They are laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
Well, what kind of foundation do you think that is? It’s a faith foundation. And it’s a grace foundation. We have to see ourselves perfected in Christ Jesus. We have to stop looking at who we are in the flesh, and start looking at who we are in Christ Jesus. We can’t base our faith in Christ on the basis of how perfect we are in the flesh. That’s like trying to walk on water. We sink every time. But if we look to our Lord, and to His grace, to see who God our Father has made us in him, in raising us up in Christ from the dead, we triumph no matter what.
Even the great Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles had trials of his faith. I can’t begin to imagine what he was thinking when the Lord gave him a messenger of Satan to buffet him. It was apparent he had doubts about himself and his position in Christ. The attacks made him waver. They made him worry. “Lord, please make these things stop bothering me! He cried out. Now imagine that! Paul had met a situation with the enemy his faith was no match for at first, but then the Lord came to Him and said, like “Hey Paul, you have forgotten something in your faith walk, you’ve forgotten about my grace. Our inheritance of eternal life is worked out in two parts; part 1, we get ourselves rooted and grounded in Christ. We see who we are in Him, but then we can’t leave out the second part. We aren’t perfect yet. We aren’t in heaven yet, and we have certain things in our lives that torment us. We ask ourselves, now how can I really be saved if these things keep going on in the flesh. They are out of my control. I can’t do anything about them. I’ll tell you how. We bump our faith up a little more. Not only do we have to have the great faith of who we have been made in Christ Jesus because of His resurrection from the dead. But we have to have faith that His grace is sufficient for us. His grace covers our weaknesses while we are here on this planet.
Despite Paul’s torment at the hands of a messenger of Satan, he needed to be reminded he was still in a decaying body of the flesh, still subject to overwhelming assaults by the wicked one the Lord gave him so he wouldn’t get lifted up in pride.
So the Lord told him. “Hey look Paul. Yes, I have made you weak, but I did so to let you know that all those revelations I’ve given you aren’t the things that save you. It is your faith in who I have made you to be in me, and it’s great that you see yourself walk mightily in me, but don’t forget about my grace.
It isn’t the great messages that you have been given that get you through the pearly gates, it is your faith in me, that it may be by grace, that I have saved you.
Now some of you might say, “Hey, wait a minute now, You just spent a nice long time teaching us how to see ourselves walking around in Heaven in Christ Jesus, and not you are telling us we’re weak…, and you are right, I am, now ain’t I somethin’!?? But I’m just putting us in the place Paul was, beside himself with those demons smacking him around. He started looking at his weakness, and where he had been so mighty before he now found himself humbled. The Lord was teaching Him not to look on his weaknesses, because the Lord’s grace covered that. You see, we don’t have to look at our weaknesses. In fact, we are not really supposed to. We are supposed to reckon ourselves dead to the old man in the flesh, and look to the new man we have been made in Christ Jesus.
Remember what we said earlier, the thing separating us from God was the carnal mind, the mind of the flesh, the old man in Adam, well Jesus took care of our separation from God by taking on himself our punishment. And because of that the partition separating us from God, the veil of our flesh was destroyed, opening up our way back to God in Christ Jesus.
So we take our faith, the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, and we exercise that faith to start walking in who we have made in Christ Jesus. We don’t look at the dead ol’ flesh we wear as a covering. God almighty can’t see it any longer. It’s been slain and buried.
God looks past our flesh to our soul that is looking toward the new man within. In the mind of God our sinfulness has been punished, His law satisfied. Now we are alive to Him in Christ Jesus, and He loves us just as He loves Jesus. It is the grace of Jesus that will ultimately deal with our weaknesses as he wills. In the mean time, we have to be strong in faith believing, not looking at the weakness of our flesh, but at the strength of Jesus being made perfect in that weakness.
2 Cor. 12
[7] And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
[8] For this thing I be sought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
[9] And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
You see, the attitude about our weaknesses should be a thing to be happy about. If we have problems with the old man now dead in the flesh, or afflictions, or diverse temptations trials and testings, we should rejoice. We should count it all joy. Such problems are a sign of our salvation.
It is though our shortcomings that we find the greatness of our Lord’s grace toward us. And when we come to understand such about our weaknesses, we can happily turn them over to our Lord who bought us with His own blood and reigns over us. Despite problems we have the assurance that the good work our Lord has begun in us will be carried through to the end.
You see, He purchased our redemption with His own blood. He paid the greatest price for us that has or ever will be paid for us to become of His household. We are His possession and that guarantees us that He is forever mindful of us whether we feel like it or not.
We need to settle it once and for all time that our Lord’s grace is sufficient for us, and stop looking at our weaknesses as a terrible thing, but a sign of our salvation. That’s on the one hand, on the other, having loosed our problems into the Lord’s hands, it’s time for us to focus on the newness of our life in God, set our soul to looking after the things of the spirit, and consider ourselves already glorified in the Lord.
We must set our minds on things above, but walk here as in the power of the God our Father who raised our Lord from the dead and us in Him. We must see ourselves as He is in the world so are we.
The Apostle John said it best.
1John.4
[17] Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
You see, as He is, so are we in this world. And seeing that oneness with Him He has called us to, we must see ourselves as He is and what? Have boldness! Have boldness! And how do we do that? We do it by faith! We call those things that are not yet as though they are. We begin seeing ourselves in Heaven having great glory in Christ Jesus our Lord. It is finished! He has risen from the grave and been given great power and glory, made ruler of all things in Heaven and Earth. And we were raised up in Him and made heirs of all things with Him, so let us have boldness to see ourselves as He is so we can have boldness in the Day of Judgment. We no longer look at the body of our flesh. It was crucified with Christ. It’s a dead thing in the mind of God. It’s just a garment we must put off, and put on the new man, the spirit man inside who has been created in righteousness and true holiness. We must look to our spiritual man to already be walking the golden streets of Heaven in Christ.
WE MUST SEE OURSELVES AS HE IS SO THAT WE CAN HAVE BOLDNESS!
You see, when we have boldness, we begin to receive greater knowledge of God, more revelation of gospel Truth, and a greater understanding of who God has made us in Christ Jesus! We turn from the flesh and look to the Spirit. We begin to walk in love.
We pray the prayer of the Apostle Paul from Colossian’s chapter one, beginning with verse nine.
Col. 1
[9] Oh Lord my God and Father of our life in Christ Jesus, we pray this day O’ Lord, greatly desiring that we might be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
[10] That we might walk worthy of you into all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the greatness of the knowledge of you Father;
[11] We asked to be strengthened with all your might, according to your glorious power you gave us when you raised us up in Christ Jesus from the dead. We pray for the fruit of all patience and long suffering with joyfulness;
[12] and we give thanks to you Father, for the great love that you have shown us in Christ Jesus that has made us righteous to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Glory to you Father! Glory to you Lord Jesus! Glory to you Holy Spirit! We praise and worship you!
[13] Thank you so very, very much for releasing us from the power of darkness, and placing us into the kingdom of Your Dear Son:
Thank you Father, that in Christ, and Christ alone, you have redeemed us with the precious blood of our Lord Jesus and cleansed us of all unrighteousness!

It is now that we see the greatness of our salvation in Christ Jesus! It is now that we can boldly enter into God’s presence by seeing ourselves in Christ Jesus entering the inner sanctuary behind the curtain that was ripped from top to bottom. The way to God is open to us because Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf.” (Hebrews 6:19-20)
Therefore, if we were in Him when our God and Father raised Him from the dead, then we were in Him when He redeemed us with His precious blood. When we see ourselves in Him we have great confidence! Paul says in Hebrews chapter six verses 19 and 22.
“Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his flesh. Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.” (Hebrews 10:19 and 22)
(Hebrews 9:24-26)
“For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. …But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.”
