Wow what a week...

This week I encountered persecution and judgement...I was asked how could someone associate themselves with a sinner when they claim to love Jesus...and then they berated me about how I too was going to fall into the pits of death if I didn't stay away from people like that. But what this person didn't know...is that I associate with "a sinner as he put it" because she needs Jesus...and I may be the only Jesus she is encountering...the healed have no need of a Physician...the sick do....so despite the persecution I faced...I will not walk away and leave souls with no one to bring the Light to them.

There were a couple of thefts this week that I witnessed...the second person caught, broke my heart with their actions...I pray that these souls will be touched in some way by the Lord and turn from their ways.

My pet frog died :(

and today I received 9 new baby fish.

I'm dating someone new...mostly just casually...but it's new and fun...God's will be done.

I'm so looking forward to my weekend.

I'm sorry you were persecuted. Your strength is encouraging! May He continue to make you strong and bless your work.

I was just wondering about your frog. I'm sorry to hear it died. Hope the fishies bring you many smiles. :)

*Cross* God bless.

I'm happy today...had a nice day...a blessing....

Sometimes we wonder how something so tiny can bring us the most joy...just knowing that God is life...awwww

My nephew got hurt last night really bad. He should have been home...but being a typical teenager...he wasn't. :roll:
So he's been to the hospital last night and back to the doctor today. Several shots, antibiotics and bandages later...my poor sister...and those 2 grandparents who were furious...it's so funny to think how mad my parents and my sister are now...now that it's all over...and the lectures my dear nephew received from my dad and the doctor both...I'm just thankful he's ok and that it's not worse than it was...so I'll let them all do the lecturing and fussing...and I'm just gonna love him...as I believe we have a blessing in knowing he will heal in time. :)

So that's all for me for now...til next time...

Why do we have to wear this sinful pride? I'm a giver...I give constantly...doesn't matter what it is...but I'm always sharing something with someone....and it is this that I find the enemy using against me today...he is trying to make me believe that I need to be cared for in return....I am in a selfish mood...the one that says...I give and give but no one ever does for me...blah blah blah...ugghhh if I could just rid myself of this prideful, selfish spirit today. Lord help me.

A friend told me today...well the sun always shines on you...my response was that's because God gives the sun and he's not selfish...he just gives...but God also wants something in return...and that is love...love from us...and obedience...obedience to Him....

So I want something in return...to know someone cares without me having to ask them if they do...I want to be cared for as I care for others...*sigh*

Sinful pride :(

The last couple of days have been so much more bright :) Oddly enough the other day when I wanted someone to care....someone did :) I got home and my daughter had cleaned up without me asking, and then someone brought me by 3 bunches of turnip greens...yummy! I was blessed...and God knew I just needed to know someone cared...even if I was being selfish about wanting that.

So I gentleman shared something with me yesterday...and now I have to share it as well...cuz it was so neat.

Everyday is a Holiday;
Every meal is a Picnic;
Every Thursday is Thanksgiving;
and Every Friday is Saturday night;

If you want it to be :)

The enemy is such a rat...I see how he deceives the weak and it just makes me almost sick to my stomach...these unsuspecting souls who really don't know the Truth...and he turns their lives into a living nightmare....oh my Lord Jesus...what would we ever do without you. That song If We've Ever Needed You...oh it's so right on...we need more of the Lord now than ever...my heart grieves for the hurting soul...the one who is sitting in darkness....I just want to go drag them out...pull them to the Light....but I can't...only God can....but I sure can carry the torch to help light the pathway in the darkness....and I'll do whatever I can...if it will bring just one to His saving grace.

Most see sinful souls on the path of darkness as something to be weary or afraid of. I see them as someone to love and nurture...someone to tell them that Jesus loves them. I pray for more servants of the Lord to enter the battlefields...and fight against the enemy for every lost soul...to never just roll over and allow the enemy to steal a soul forever....but to fight til there isn't a breath left to breathe in their own bodies...giving ones life to the Lord and His cause.

I'm so happy today Weee!

My beautiful daughter turns 16 tomorrow. She's so growing up....but then again it sure puts a crunch on her mama's pocketbook. She seems to think she is entitled to things...but now she's finding out that mom's only gonna do so much and if she wants more, she's gonna have to get a job and work for it. Guess you'd say she's getting a bit of a reality check.

Today was a great day. The guy I'm dating did something special for me this morning...it was a small thing...but it meant so much...they always say it's the small things that mean the most...and I do believe that to be the case here...and I smile :)

I've been thinking of finding some place I can do some volunteer work. I just feel the need to get out and do something on my day off...and now that I have 3 days a week off...I do enjoy the extra day to rest...but I also want to get out and do something. Maybe if I can find some place to volunteer once a month would give me a sense of doing something. Still praying on this...may God lead me to the right place...and His will be done.

Friday is almost here...and what a great week! Just fun. So much planned for the weekend...but that's what makes things good and interesting.

Sitting here waiting for the storm to hit that's headed my way. I've had some calls from my boyfriend and another friend saying the hail is really bad in the storm. Yucko!

I'm so looking forward to next week...only working one day...so after tomorrow I'll work one day in the next 10 days yay!

Easter is going to be upon us soon. An awesome time of love that our Lord had for us.

Kind of some random thoughts tonight...but all in all I'm just happy :)

Another week since my last post...and I'm still happy :)

It's been a fun week...I've enjoyed a lot of time with my boyfriend....and I've worked very little rofl

I've got a song stuck in my head for the last two days...you know the song And the Arms that Holds the Universe is holding you tonight...what a sweet song....just soothes ya...sometimes I just sit and play it over and over...and I imagine God holding all the hurting, bitter, lonely, angry, sad, happy, joyful, loving and caring souls....the world is made up of all types...and He holds them all. :)

Sunday is Easter...went and bought me a new dress today...not that I needed one...but I just wanted one...something special for Easter Sunday. I bought Easter goodies for the kids in my class too...they're moms will appreciate me...cuz I bought something that won't get them all sugared up. I purchased sidewalk chalk...every child likes to play with that so it seems.

And for the best part...Easter allows me to know that I will be in Heaven one day...it gives me a hope of tomorrow...Jesus died on that cross...so I could be forgiven...so I could serve Him...so I could reach out to others and introduce them to Him...so they too could live in eternity...Thank you Jesus for the salvation you have so freely given to myself and all those who call upon your name.
