Prayer and help
My husband, is a very good person. We have been married almost 53 years. He used to cover all his emotions with anger (never violence, just the silent treatment for any perceived infraction on my part). Now, I won't take that anymore and he has no other coping skills. He has always been a good Christian man and has gone to church with me and our children (until they left home). Now his disposition has changed after having 4 heart surgeries. He is depending on me for his only happiness in life. He stares at me in rapture and can't keep his hands off, stroking, petting, loving me just way too much! I am retired but have several groups I meet with and I enjoy getting away. He misses me so much, and asks if I miss him. Not really. I love him with all my heart, but I am very upset he won't go to church with me. We tried a different church, but the congregation was just not friendly and outgoing like they are at the previous church. I have started going back to the old church and he refuses to go and again is giveing me the silent treatment or lashes out at me when I return home. I have prayed and prayed for God to enter his heart again and help change him. I need help on how to cope.

I am sorry to hear of your struggle.
I will be praying for you and him. Gods will over this. There is hope that things can change and get better.
Perhaps we will meet in chat soon. It's a great place to fellowship and share.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
