I always looked at this as what came out my mouth....but what's coming out of my life? Is my life a lie..How does the Spirit of Truth.The Holy Spirit and me line up? NOW that's a million dollar question Who wants to be a millionaire? Me, according to God's Holy standards.

Good thoughts, great challenge ...

Here's something more to think about: Thou shall not take the Lord's name in vain. It's not just about saying, "Oh my G-d" or cursing His name. How about when we call ourselves Christians, and we act anything by Christ-like?

not only when people say O my G-D...which makes my skin crawl, and teaching my kids its not ok and why when everyone else does...but even the 'OMG' bugs me.

another one the really gets to me is geez or geesh or even sheesh. i said it once and my gramma came unglued. she said it was how people shortened "Jesus! as an exclamation like O my G-d!" like friggin and freakin...
