Christianity Oasis Forum

This forum is a place where those who feel called by the Lord are able to post about any trials or victories they are going through as they serve the Lord by reaching and teaching His children. You can post and then lock your thread so no one can reply, if you so choose. Think of it as your own personal diary or journal that you choose to share with others who are called as to share ideas, experiences and tips as they too serve the Lord.

If it sounds as though I am whining.... or grumpy, adjust your channel setting .....for that is not my heart tone....

you sounding grumpy or whinging...NO WAY! To me it sounds as if Lani is being real and even in all her pain, she knows that Papa has her and even tho a grrr may come every now and then or even a dangflabit, she still trust in the one we are all longing to trust in ourselves..

I personally am so proud of you Lani....even through the GRRRR's and the
"But I don't wanna post that , but Papa said to's" you pressed in and did what you needed to do instead of what you wanted to do.

Prayers remain with you!
Love you !

*hug* Lani, sis. I get it. We are human...saved...forgiven...striving to be like Jesus, prayerful, hopeful humans...with God given emotions that allow us to love and feel. You know the hope and glory that lies beyond life on this earth..and nothing compares to that..but, we are still human. A time to grieve..a time for hope...a time for everything...God allows for and understands. I love you, sis. And am standing with you through this. His perfect will be done through this. May HIs peace fill and surround you.

in Jesus,
love momo *Pray*

Hey Y'all *Wave*

Checking In.... Lani still human? dern,,,,, check.... grr

A few of you have reached out and asked about my mother.... while I've shared, I wish to update all...

First I am sorry for the loooooooooooong delay in updating... I could list all kinds of reasons but in truth... I simply failed.

My apologies *hug5*

So, the subject of Mom.... :)
Well, y'all might get a sense of where my stubbornness comes from cuz she is still kickin and screamin... well not really, she is rather quiet but still here.

She is slowing, tired and sleeping most of the day away. In her waking moments she talks about my father most often. I am learning things I did not know and in truth, kinda wish I still didn't know... Superman's cape has been taken away, so to speak.

She is beautiful and still portraying that grace I learned to appreciate at an early age. I can see a lot of my Grandmother in her as well which has been a great source of comfort (as odd as that sounds).

I would like to thank each of you for your support and prayers... If you prayed for her to last... she has :)

Personally, I think she just wants to prove the "know-it-all" doctors wrong and sheer stubbornness keeps her going. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm perhaps THAT is where I get it! Wait, did I just basically say I am like my mother? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

In the past several weeks, My understanding has shifted, I've been able to work through some of those hurts and realize I will only be loosing her physical presence... I have eternity to enjoy her wit when we are both home. Yes, it is still going to hurt, but there is a Peace about it as well.

My prayer for her... Freedom from the pain that causes her to grimace when she thinks no one can see her. It breaks my heart.

You Holy Will Heavenly Father.

Peace n Luv in Christ,
*BlessYou* Lani
