An abuse teen

Postby dawnannette » Tue Jan 25, 2011 10:57 am

My daughter called me last night and asked for help for a coworker. This 17 year old girl has been dealin with abuse from her mom for sometime now. I went to see if I could be of help. I saw the bruise and knots on this girl and called the shelter. They said for me to bring the girl to the police station which I did. They came to the police station and got the girl. About 2 to 3 hours later a police officer called me and threatened me saying that if the girl was found in my possession I would go to jail for harboring a run away. This girl had told me that her mom had connections in the police here in town. Please pray that this child will be safe from futher abuse and not be placed back in the custody of an abusive parent.

Thanks,
Dawn Annette

Good news so far the girl was still safe as of 11 am. I received a call from the police telling me the girl had not been found and that the mother was talking of filing charges against me. I told the policeman that all I did was take the girl to the police station. He finally said that I had done my part. And that it would be up to CPS to handle it now.
So I ask the policeman if I could be assited with a law myself. He said I could so I told him that someones person information had been compromised by an employer and that the next of kin, of that persons, had been give out without that persons consent and that information was used to threaten and harrass the next of kin. The officer said that was illegal and that the person needs to contact a lawyer.
My daughters boss gave my information to the people who were looking for this girl and they called and threatend me. So my daughter is going to contact a lawyer tomorrow.
So please keep this all in your prayers. I really appreciate it as I live alone and don't need any trouble from some abuser.

*hug*Keep your peace on dear sister. It is just an attempt to make you as miserable as they actually are inside. You have someone greater on your side. God all mighty. He promises to go before you and to protect and prosper you.

This to shall pass.

Wow brings back lots of memories .... Abuse comes in all forms, not just physical.
And where are the police when the abused need them. As children we are told to trust them and go to them with our problems.
But actions speak.....
How many times do we need to find our children molested by their own loved ones or slaughtered like cattle by someone they love and trusted.
Not to mention disposing of their little bodies in suitcases or holes in the ground. or wooded areas for the animals to devour.
Sorry for the graphics.. But if it takes Graphics , so be it !!!
The police are most time on the side of the adults and that should not be.
Our children should be heard most definitely and trusted until found not to be.

Oh dear Jesus
Please make us see the truth ....
sorry, My issues are Showing

I am thankful that you got involved.

But, your daughter's boss probably had no idea that this child was in a shelter. Keep in mind that you don't know what he may have been told. Unless your daughter was standing there. He may have thought the daughter had been kidnapped by slave traders or something dramatic and that you had seen her kidnappers.

Just a thought to consider.
