Woot, Woot! Recognizing the problem for what it is, is half the battle...now you know what you struggle with...and can ask God to help you with the battle each and every time the enemy comes to knock at your door with temptation. Keep up the good work hun.

God Bless

Day 4 Forgiveness

Postby Angel42 » Fri Dec 31, 2010 1:34 pm

I am on day 4 of my journey. Today I had a revelation and realized many of my habits and problems stem from my true inability to forgive myself. I forgive myself and others who have done me wrong. I know I have to let go and let God. That is my only way to survival and renewal of my mind, body, and soul. I feel excited and know that I am on my way to living God's purpose he has for my life and understand there will be trial and tribulations that will come in my path.

Hello Angel *saint*

I know how hard of a struggle it is to stay afloat with bills piling up and collection agencies harrassing you...and, have more bills than money...and, of coarse gambling was indeed a poor choice...but, we live and learn right...nobodies perfect...But, the revelation I would like to share with you might sound simple yet strange to many...

But, you give of what you need...

That's right..I said give...remember the story of the woman who was instructed to give her last to feed another first then herself and her child...

She coulda made her last meal and fed herself and her son and been disobedient to God's orders to bless the man he sent for her to feed with what lil she had...

but, even though it made no sense to her in natural..she chose to be obedient and bless this man with her last lil bit of food...

This was during the time of a famine no less...

Her cruise and oil never ran out throughout that entire famine...

God says when you lend to others you are lending unto him..and he is the one who repays...

So next time you feel the urge to turn to gambling...rebuke that thought...then look around for someone to bless finacially...and watch that blessing come back to you...

example...

One day me and my best friend were in need of a blessing real bad to pay on a payday loan...

we saw this man with a dog holding a sign asking for food...

we went into walmart
bought him lunch meat and cheese, chips, soda, can foods and treat for the dog and a gallon of water..then i gave him 25.oo for gas...he was traveling and had no money to get back to louisiana...

he got his blessings...

then we went to the payday loan who was demanding a full payment of 500.00 god showed us favor and she accepted a 40.00 payment that she offered...

went to my friends house to visit and he gave us exactly 120.00 the exact amount we needed for the other payday loan...

God is amazing isn't he???

just thought I'd share this with you.

p.s. Father God I lift to you Angel...I ask that you cover and saturate her heart, mind, and soul in the blood Lord...I rebuke and bind this urge to Gamble...I cancel the enemies mission to seek and destroy her faith and sucker her into the enemies webs of lies using gambling as the bait to increase her finance...Instead teach her how to be still and trust in you to see her through these finacial storms she has been coming against...Bring favor into her life over these bill collectors soften their hearts that they will help her instead of harrassing her...Peace be still....get the behind her satan for it is written...For GREATER is HE that is in HER than HE that is in the WORLD...and if GOD be for her than WHO can be against her????
I release prosperity NOW...I release stronger FAITH NOW...In Jesus name I pray Amen

Name it..claim it.. believe it..recieve it..

I have completed day 5, but felt like I was rushed. However, I learned that I have been extremely selfish in my acts. I only thought of my own need. Had I thought about my daughter, the church, other people who are in bad situations, I probably would have made different choices. But instead, I was selfish!!!! I don't want to be selfish and never intended to be so.

And just remember if you find yourself being selfish, repent, accept God's forgiveness, forgive yourself and get back up and back to it.

Also, if you feel you may need to review the step because of the rushed time constraints, don't hesitate.

Have a wonderful evening.

luv ya

Missed Day 6

Postby Angel42 » Mon Jan 03, 2011 1:36 am

I missed day 6 because I had to work and complete an assignment. I felt I needed to go back anyway to focus a little bit on some other steps. I am still on the journey to success so that I can live God's purpose for my life in 2011 and so on. I will not be defeated by the devil!!
