Good morning fellow Oasis family

I would assume that most of us have already seen the Christmas Love Offerings Drive banner at the top of this page. For those who havent, just scroll up a bit and you will.

This appeal has been running for a week, and it saddens me to see the lack of response thus far.

This post is for those who believe in this Ministry... so if you do not believe in this ministry, if you havent felt the love of Jesus here, if you havent seen people's lives being bettered and people growing in the Lord, if you havent learned more about Him or made friends and fellowshipped here... then the rest of this post will most likely not make much sense to you and thats ok too.

But if you are one of the many, many, many people who have been touched in some way by this ministry, then I am humbly asking you to take a deeper look at the Christianity Oasis Ministry and all that it offers to Christians and Non-Believers worldwide, and then ask yourself if this Ministry is not worth the support of those who patronize it day after day, year after year.

Your home church serves you once or twice a week, with a couple of sermons and then all goes home. Yet no one thinks twice about putting money in the offering plate, and that is how it should be. It is giving back to the Lord what HE has given freely to you.

But I cannot understand how people come here 24/7, are able to access thousands of studies, fellowship, attend programs etc and still think that it is unreasonable to be asked to give an offering.
You are giving to God when you give to this Ministry.

O and phan have devoted their lives to serving God and making this site a home away from Home for us. Yet service to God doesnt mean the bills miraculously disappear or food just materializes out of thin air. Like any Ministry, they need the support of the body of Christ.

No one needs to give any more than they are able. But your $1 or $5 or $10 or whatever you can give, when combined with the offerings of other souls who believe, will go towards keeping this ministry going. People dont usually know what they have until its gone, but I know that those who partake of the Oasis, already know how precious it is.

If you believe, in this Ministry and in the promises of God and His faithfulness to you, search your heart and consider showing your support for the Oasis by joining in the Love Offerings Drive.
