steps again....day 8

*saint* I like this step cuz it makes me think and realize so many things. First...the problem is not me (even tho most of the time I blame myself). Also, It is whether or not I choose to entrtain the problem determines if it becomes sin. well, I must be the head of the entertain ment committee then!! :( I do not like this scripture because it is scary: Matt 12:43-45 saying that Satan wants to move back in to my cleaned up self and bring friends! Now that is NOT right! I do love the verse in Romans 7:15-25 saying I do NOT do what I want to do I do the thing that I hate. That is soooooo me!!! Evil comes calling...not fair! When I think the toughts that I should not ..YES..my spirit changes and I do NOT like that.

OK>>>> I need to learn to focus and tune into God to change my thoughts. I HAVE to be spiritually minded ...all the time!! Going to memeorize Romans 8:6 Being spitiutally minded brings life and peace. I so want the peace in my spirit....in my mind.

*Pray* I pray that God helps my train my mind to hav the good thoughts and to renew my minds daily and to rid my thoughts of the destructive things I think. *Pray* *

hello sb,

Ah yes and those who seek shall find! What a great promise that is, isnt it?

Just look for the peace in Him, in His Word, through the Holy Spirit. And He promises you will find it!!!

God is good!

He wants us to attain this peace. "Peace i leave with you, My peace i give to you." Can you imagine having the peace that our Lord has? It is ours for the possessing!

What better gift for Him to give us so that we can effectively carry out HIs purpose? By having His peace as an attainable tool to use for His glory, we can better do His will in ALL situations.

God bless u sis
