Stepping stone day seven
know your mind

I have a battle at times keeping my temple holy impure thoughts get in
the way unforgiveness anger ect.it is loseing its grip on me.
I have herd this over and over again over the years and it has taken me
a lifr time to get it.
In order for me to control my thoughts and be transformed in to God's
image is to renew my self.and not to be particapating in worldy things.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world but be transforned
by the renwing of mind,that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable
and perfict will of God.

Father God help me to have the mind of Christ and do what is good and acceptable
to you God in reading his word and putting it in my mind.

I knew picking up God's word was the answere for along time i had to discipline'
my self to do it

I felt God pulling at my heart i asked him to give me the desire to read and to
get into his word and study it i also asked him for his wisdome to understand
what i read he has answred my prayer.

a favoret scripture of mine that says he will answere my prayers if i belive.

Mark 11:24 Therefore i say unto you whatever things you ask when you pray
belive that you recive them and you will have them.

I also have a desire to be like the temple of the Holy Ghost a place that God
wants to dwell in and to and draw others to invite Christ into there hearts
to come out from among the world and become temples of the Holy Ghost
and a desire to teach others.

Ciny...knowing that we are the temple...and that God dwells within us...makes us want to have a cleaner house(body) for Him...sometimes that means getting out the whisk broom, the dust cloth, the good ol' elbow grease and skrubbing the cracks, corners...pulling out the stove and fridge...and getting all the grime out. Some of that grime may have been back there for a long time...especially when the enemy has placed so much in and around us to walk through daily. He wants to keep us bogged down in all that grunge and grime...but with Jesus we have the best housekeeper we could ask for...let Him continue to do a work in you.

Temple of the Holy Ghost...............


1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the
Holy Spirit who is he in you whom you have from God and you are not your own
for you were bought with a pricetherefore glorify God in your body and in your
spirit which are God's

This is a song we use to sing at a church i went to as a teenager it is based
on the scripture above................. about a monthe ago i remberd this song and all the words and the tune God new i would be doing this study

The Temple of the Holy Ghost


I think this is a good example of what step seven is talking about about
takeing things in to our minde and soul...............................................

I use to watch horror movies non stop i was addicted to them i had a lot
of meantal problems from watching them..........i felt God tugging at my
heart to stop watching them at one point i threw them out and took them back
out of the trash........
a friend said this statemnet to me....... our eyes and our ears were the widows
to our soul what we take is what we become..............

That got me thinking i went home and this time i took out those movies and tore
them appart and prayed for the spirit to be broken off me.

this was six years ago.... now for the subconscious part of it i still have dreams
sometime about the movies..... i rebuke the dreams and the memorys of them

James 4:7 There fore submit your self to God Resist the devil and he will flee
from you.

when i see the horror movies in the store or on tv i flee from them can't stand to
look at them.....they spook me.
God did'nt create us to be scared and fearful nervous and deppresd or oppressed
by the devil or to take in evil things....

Heavenly Father i praise you and lift up praise of thanksgiving up to you you are holy
and worthy of all praise and glory..i lift my request to you right now to take away
the memorys of my past and replace them with your word and guard my heart
with your word amen.


Phillippians4:6-9 Be anxxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and thanksgiving
let your request be made known to God,and the peace wich passes all understanding

will guard your heartsand mindes through Christ Jesus.Finaly brethren whatsoever things
are true what soever things are nobel,what soever things are just,what soever things are

pure,what soever things are lovely,what soever things are a good report is if there anything
praise worthy----meditate on thease things The things which you learned and recived and
heared and saw in me these do and the God of peace will be with you.

Stepping Stone 8
Trials and tribulations........hear is a belief that i belived for years about trials
and tribulations.

I herd thease sermons preached as a child if you were going through trials
and tribulations you were living in sin......................the wrong teachings
seem to stick in my head longer than the right teachings!!!!!!!!!!

Gods word says this about trials and tribulations

Matthew 16:33 Thease things i have spoken to you that im me you may have
peace in the world you WILL HAVE TRIALS AND TRIBULATION. but be of good
cheer i have over come the world.

Romans 5:3And not only that but we also glory in tribulationproduces presvervance.


When trials and tibulations come up it dont mean you have sinned its how i react to
the trials and tribulatiins and temptations if i give in and commit the sin that is a sin.

Ther is also Falts teachers who teach wrong things

2Peter 2:1falst teachers........ iam finding it is better to read up on what i hear being
preached to me.....

This is what i am learning to that there is an advesary the devil and he is out to destroy
people
1Peter 5:8 Be sober be vilagent because your advesary the devil walks about like a
roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.


Matthew 4:1-11
Jesus was tempted by satin in the widerness he resited the devil and the devil had to
flee from him.and the angels came and minsitered to him

it says in Gods word James 4:7Submit your selfs therefore to God Resist the devil
and he will flee from you.

I get temted a lot some times iam strong and resist the temptations and other times
i fall down i try not to beat my self up over it and get back up.

Ciny, I'm so happy for you, and happy The Lord showed you, in His Word, that we all have trials and tribulations, and that temptation is not our sin, but if we entertain the thoughts of the temptation for too long, we may fall into sin.

Repentance is key, Ciny. Repent, be restored by the renewing of your mind, and get back up and carry on with God. He loves you so very much.

This is my goal to be more open with my fealings and get rid of my fears and to work on not isolaing my self from the world.
i isolate my self to much part of the trust issue and i have done it a long time.time to do something new,yup yup. something new. io can do this i realy i can ive got to do this!!!!!!! from what i have been studying
in thease steps is idetifying the problem,well thats a biggy for me the isolation, Help me Lord God to work this out amen.

ciny...when we have suffered much....it often seems easier to become isolated and reserved....and maybe it is at first...but then it becomes a lonely place...and after awhile we become bored....and the enemy will use that boredness to step in and hold us down...

But...if we will take that first step out of our comfort zone...and trust in the Lord....and use His strength and protection to do so....then we will see a blessing that we may have missed otherwise.
