thank you piney. love you too.

prayers still needed..

my lil nephew has underwent a surgery on last Sunday. His condition was getting worse on that Friday nite..from our room, i cud hear him crying all nite..my instinct was right..something was really wrong with Raphael (we love call him apel) and he needed immediate medical attention..Saturday morning...he was still crying and frequently vomiting. Earlier, my dad went to their room and tried to knocked on their door..sis in law didn't open the door. Since the flight over here is only available on Thursday at 9am and Saturday at 10 am..mom has went out for work at 7am..she recently work at the airport. around 9.15 am..dad go and check them again..dad saw apel was laying there on the mattress on the floor.. my sis in law rubbing his back..since apel when is an active baby when is ok..like to move around..kinda nonstop..but that day he was so different..move less..dad also knew that time they need to get apel to the hospital as soon as possible..apel's parents told dad..now is 9.20 am aredy, late..dad asked them to pack only what apel needed and just go to the airport..dad helped them to arrange their tickets. When they arrived at the city..my cousin picked them at the airport and straight to the hospital. Apel got admitted immediately..my sis in law s older sister was there with them..my sis in law went back to get few things at home..that was the time few junior doctors came to examine apel..her sister told me about what had happend that time..it was so hard for the nurses to find his vein..they tried few times at different places on the back of his hand ..they even tried to inject on his ankle..woahh...as far as i experienced..to set the drip needle or the catheter can be very painful if they dun handled it carefully..it happend that the nurses at that ward were quite rough..and until today..apel wud cry everytime he saw a nurse approaching him..even they dun do anything..it break my heart to know the some of the nurses there were not really gentle with children. When the senior doctor came to ward..my sis in law was not there..only her sister. She showed apel's unusual swollen to him. at his left lower tummy and it is very big that day. The senior doctor was shocked when he saw it. He asked the junior doctors whom were examine apel earlier,, do they all know what was that actually. As one of the doctor suspected that it might be malaria. He got very upset with them.. told them that my nephew has an intestine problem. It has unusually moved down to his left lower abdomen area..he tried to manually pushed it upward with hands..but didn't work. So he told them..it needed immediate surgery on the next day and my nephew has to fast starting from the midnite. On Sunday morning..my dad, mum and me still at the village. Dad called them early that morning..they informed us my nephew will go for operation that day. We three still went for Sunday service at church..as dad request for specific prayer for my nephew. I dunno how to describe what ive felt that Sunday..i cried during singing praise n worship..and during the prayer session..tried so hard to hold my tears back..but i cudnt. i didn't cried thinking of him..but i cried for him. We went down to the city after the service at 2 pm..on the way we called my older brother..he told us that my nephew is still sleeping..because of the anaesthetic ..he underwent the operation at 12 pm.. we arrived there at 9pm. After the surgery..the doctor explained that..they managed to pushed the intestine back to it place..he said, if my nephew is late for another 3 days..they wud have to cut off his intestine.. it has became darker in color. No wonder all this while..he drink milk a lot and actually has a good appetite..but still small..that senior doctor was upset with my sis in law as well for being almost late to get my nephew for the treatment. When she first brought him to the children specialist clinic in the previous time..the swollen was not so obvious. the specialist consultant himself was not in, only his nurse. The other doctor which they ve met told my sis in law that the swollen wud be lesser in time. but we noticed that it is getting bigger month by month and my nephew became very ill this time. her sister told us..she was crying on the way they wheeled my nephew into the OT. She even in tears when she told us about it. On Monday..we went to visit my nephew..he was in the other ward for children who will undergo or ve underwent a surgery..i saw other kids on their bed..it kinda wanna make cry as well..i dunno my heart goes out for kids esp when they hospitalised..my nephew still laying on his tummy..when he first saw us..he cying..seems scared..he wants his mother all the time since the surgery..her sister said..if only the nurses at the other ward handle him with gentle the other day..he wudnt be so scared of people..after a little while..he was ok to see us..maybe he felt safe..and knowing we wont give him needle aww..he was on antibiotic for 5 days..administered thru the needle that is placed on his left hand..i saw few blue bruises on the right of his little hand..resulting from few trying to get the needle in. There was also nail marks on his cheeks..my sis in law told us..the nurse hold his cheek very rough..when they tried to make him swallowed the medicine..her sister was upset with them and told them they dun need to treat him roughly as he got no problem to eat the med when he is at home. We waited him asleep..and then the mother went back home to take bath and get changed..my nephew woke up before she get back..he cried a lot again looking for her..my mother hold him in her arms and put him on her shoulder..he stopped just before his mother arrived. At 11 am.. the children specialist consultant came to visit the ward..he explained that they ve discovered something that might need further analysis and further concern..he told that his upper intestine is shifted toward his lungs..and that affected the breathing system of my nephew to function well. They ve sent his x ray film to lung's children specialist at the capital city..fter she analysed the x ray..they might refer my nephew to the hospital over there. The specialist want to see my nephew herself..only then they will know whether my nephew gonna need another surgery or not.. On Tuesday..visited him again..at 9am..a nurse came and asked the mother to bring my nephew to room where they will have to get his blood sample..woahhh..it took more than half hours for the nurses to inject the needle..my sis in law was not allowed to go in the room..they closed the door finally..was agonizing to hear him crying in pain and finally a doctor came in and managed to do it.. when the nurse get him out of the room and gave him to his mother..they took the blood sample from his ankle..he was already quiet..i wondered why he suddenly quiet..my mom said..because he was aredy tired of struggling and crying..her mother gently put him on the bed..he slowly and quietly drifted to sleep..then his mother went back home ..at 10 am doctor came and told us not to give him milk as they want to make another procedure later that afternoon at 2 pm..she carefully explained that they will insert a tube thru his nose to check the location of the intestine..whether it near the stomach or near the lungs. Once again..my nephew fasting..he cried asking for milk tho..we ve to get the bottle out of his sight aww..11 am nurse came to put the antibiotic thru the drip needle..but the med didn't flow in..it flow out and dripping on the floor instead..when she checked it..she told that it needed to be change..woaahh..again. 12 pm my dad, mum n me went out for lunch. My older brother called and said they was setting another drip needle..it is on his leg..we cud hear him crying loudly in the phone..we ve to go back at home to look after other nieces and nephew...they understand..that their mother need to be with their little brother in the hospital..on Wednesday..we went to hometown..my dad need go to the education office to do some official duty..and also to inform them about my sis in law will take leave.. later on Friday..my brother called my dad..he said..they refer my nephew to the hospital at the capital city..woahh dad ve to make some fast adjustment..plan changed..since we brought along my 3 yrs old niece and 4 yrs old nephew with us..dad bought plane tickets for us three..on Saturday morning we three flying back to the village..thanks God safely arrived..that was amazing actually..because i didn't sure i can managed two of them at once time..when we arrived at the village..my grandparents were not in..i asked helped from my dad's student to carry our box and one plastic bag. My cousin helped me to carry one small luggage..they went to the farm..i didn't know where they put the house keys..and we ve to wait my cousin to go to tell them that we ve arrived..while waiting..my niece wants the milk bottle..so i had to go to the school's kitchen..and asked warm water from my aunt who is the cook there..They went to there yesterday morning...by flight..ambulance sent them to the airport..only the mother and my nephew..i think escorted by one nurse. Sunday morning..when i woke up..there was no water upstairs..only downstairs at the outside of our home. Seems i had no choice.. carried the water in pail to the upstairs..just enuff for us three. Gave the two bath first..and get them dressed as the church service started at 9.30 am. Ty God we managed to get to the church. I really like the sermon for yesterday..pastor share about love..love without action means nothing..its not only about feeling sorry for one in a trial times..but to act it out..bearing each other burden..he said..helping your family is a ministry..for example..taking care of children at home..is a ministry..woahh...that really hit the right button..i had no clue why God put me in a place where i dun want to be months earlier..but now i understand..He placed me where i needed to be..we still have no water the whole day yesterday..it was really challenging for me..because i have these two little one with me..i was concerned about they milk bottle..because it needed to wash few times a day..i dun want them to get sick tho..later in the evening..i was kinda stress out..carrying the water earlier in the morning was agonizing..it hurt my back..and thinking about doing it again for evening bath make me wanna cry..but i had to it tho..so i did and we did ve our bath well. And for dinner..i just cook simple meal..planned to do the laundry fter that..to fill into the washing machine tub. Grandma suggested why dun me get the laundry downstairs and do the rinsing there and spin it up stairs..i forgot that rinsing it downstairs means holding the laundry added weight of the water..that is worse than carrying water in pail..because it has really strained my back yesterday..so it make me so stress out..actually, daddy was the one who will go and fix the pipe..since he is not around..nobody seems to care to go and fix it or i dunno..grandma told me..the villagers kinda purposely dun want to fix it unless they re told to do so..the same water goes into their fish pond tho..and they are physically fit..and shud be able to do it. i just dun understand why they purposely waited my dad to come today..it make me very sad. As when they need something from dad..he wud gladly helped them..but when we in times of need..they gone..that is why ppl always said..u know who is ur true fren ..is the one who is stick by ur side when u are in need.
I didn't sleep the whole last nite..was not comfortable to sleep resulting of the strained back. Tossing left and right on the mattress on the floor. The two little one are afraid of the dark..so when the electricity is off..i just let the rechargeable lamp on the ole nite..since it only lasted for 3 hours..at 3 am..went to my sis in law room the get their diapers..changed the little two diapers and their clothes as well..woaah ..they were like being soaking in water..all wet..switch on my puter lol ty God the light of my laptop is bright enuff and lasted til the electricity back on at 4.30am. and continued writing on my journal..until now is 7.11 am..
Thinking of my little nephew..there was one baby who has the same case..but they discovered it earlier..he too went for surgery ..and spent only one nite on the hospital..my parents and my sis in law parents were upset with my sis in law and my brother too..he suffered from the illness for a year..he dun deserved to go thru all the pain and the sufferings..if only he go for treatment earlier..yet it so amazing how he could stand it all this while..i could see actually..my little nephew is so strong..to get thru all that..it make sense now..for He is who inside us is stronger..

haaaaaaa im sooo touched by the love and the encouragement from you all..

thank you sooo much Mackenaw, Upside and everyone!

for the support and prayers.

that means a lot to our family and to apel's mother and father esp. they need to be strong.

my sister in law and my brother have just updated us about the ct scan result yesterday..they were waiting for it since monday..kinda long waiting for dear little apel..

this message is from apel's mother yesterday:
aphael ctscan shows there is a small hole between his lung n abdomen..the doc need to operate it and cover the hole as it make his abdomen going up to his lung n praise to God because its not a water in his lung..but the doc have to arrange another date to operate it and not to be done immediately. Dear everyone..keep on praying 4 him until all this thing is over..may God bless all of you that keep on praying 4 him..

my brother told us..there was one baby..one month old..underwent for a surgery last two days for the same case..already discharged. because the hospitalized treated him as soon they discovered it. for apel..the hospital told his parents..to wait until he one year old..to monitor and to make any further plan..the specialist at the hospital where they are at now..told them that hospital was late to refer apel to them..it is sad..but we keep praising the Lord for the things are yet to be done..and trusting He already has it. it may sounds complicated..with God nothing is impossible!

thank you a lot again to all of you on behalf of my family.

love and regards from us.

thank you all for keeping our family in ur prayers. *hug*

my sis in law and my nephew took flight to the city this evening..and my older brother is still on the way there, since he is driving..for about 12-14 hours. supposedly to be arrive at 7am later this morning. the mother called just now..they ve safely arrived and stayed with my aunt. they were celebrating her daughter birthday today..which can help to cheer up and uplifted my sis in law in a way or another. he will be admit to the hospital later today...its saturday here. his is scheduled for the surgery on monday. hope and trusting everything will be fine...for the strength to his parents also..they had fever of taking care my nephew in the hosp last time.

my other two nieces and my other nephew will be with us until their mom come back home..our journey to the village is early this morning..about few more hours to go..and i still not yet sleeping. i had bad flu since the last two days. sore throat and thick mucus which indirectly affected my breathing system...maybe preventing my lungs to expand well. i remember when i was in ICU..that lung infection..starting from the mucus i couldnt cough out. since then, when im flu..wud not be like a normal person who caught with it as well..the mucus rebuilt very quickly as soon as i get the flu and i ll get easily tired. i took clarinase for the medication..weird that it make me sleepy all day. i hope this will too pass..quickly. need to be strong to take care of nieces n nephew.

again..thank you and love you all.

awwwww thanks a lot Mackenaw *hug* i love you too! :)

we have safely arrived at the village..few hours ago at 9.30pm.

God is soooo goood! this is the journey i will always remember..

yea..i was concerned about the journey few dasy ago..since we have to take all the three kids with us..that we never done before. usually..only one of them will joined us..for comfortable reason...either my 7 yrs old nieces and me or my 4 years old nephew and me..my niece had this motion sickness..and she wud have to get a nap mostly the whole way to the village..if not she wud get sick. God was really with us today..it was amazing. at the first few hours..my 7 yrs old niece..sleep with lying on the 3/4 seat..my 3 yrs old niece sleep on my mum's lap..and for my 3 yrs old nephew was kinda funny..he was so sleepy actually, but he refused to lie down next to his sister...not really enuff space..if he sleeping on his back..but then..he bumped here n there..so we insisted him..finally..he did..and have to carefully arranged their lying position..im glad he was comfortable. it was cloudy all the way from the city..clearly a sign of heavy downpour. when we reached at the small town..it began to lightly raining..so we hurrying to eat our meal there..but then..it was not..we were listening to this song in the car..we have the everlasting God..everlasting God..was going down the road..surrounding by green forest on both side..and hills..there was a big bird..we called it hornbill here..flew over us..and suddenly..i sensed that He was invisible taking over our car..steering our journey ahead..and He holds the rain from falling down on us..He totally covered us..in the dark nite..we cud see the clouds just magnificently covered the mountains..all of us experiencing His glory.. all of us ate well in the car..and nieces n nephew slept well too.
my little nephew..ve just go admitted this evening...we ve called them during the journey..and got the chance to talk to their parents and little one thru the phone..it was fun..at the end of the conversation..the three told their mom and dad..love you mumy n love u dady. was kinda touchy..but ve to be strong tho.
all in all...thank you God..for against the all odds..He made it possible and just as awesome as He is!
