I Met Jesus!
I met Jesus one day, I met Jesus on a sunday morning.
It was early that morning I was kind of mad so,
I got up to take a walk through the forest,
the wind was blowing really smooth in my hair,
oh yes, I was enjoying the melodies that the birds song so sweet,
even though I was like a daughter leaving her father and
a child that ran out of LOVE, God was trying to tell me something,
to encourage me, but did I listen?
Oh yes I heard Jesus say, "Peace Be Still and Know that I am God!"
Oh yes, I met Jesus one day so listen carefully to my testimony!
You see, I had a spiritual heart condition,
and when God spoke "Peace Be Still!" I fell upon the ground,
and as I laid there I saw Jesus standing there,
He had eyes like balls of fire, feet like polish brass,
and a voice of many waters. When he took the word
and cut an incision in my heart, he took out hatred and gave me love,
he took my grief and wrapped me in comfort,
he took my prejudice and gave me pride.
Oh yes, that's how I met Jesus.
It was on a Sunday Morning. It was on a holy day!
