John 15 1- 9

1. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that bearth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3. Now ye are clean through the word which i have spoken unto you.

4. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye except ye abide in me.

5. I am the vine ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and i in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you , ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8. Herein is my Father glorifed that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

9. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Jesus is talking about that we need to be branches in Him the true vine. If we abide in him and him in us then our fruit can be beared BUT what if we aren't than how could our fruit grow?

Our fruit COULD NOT GROW because without Jesus the true vine your fruits cant grow

but then it says if we are not connected or abide in Him then He is cast forth as a branch and is withered away and men gather them and cast them into the fire and they burn

Now if i was them i would NOT want my branch to be burned!

SO if we are not part of the vine than we can easliy whither away and why is that because the only way we can not whither away is if we remain in Christ.

Lets look at what verse 5 says I am the vine ye are the branches ; He that abideth in me. and i in Him, the same bringth forth much fruit ; for without me ye can do nothing

Did you see that keyword in that verse? WITHOUT GOD WE CAN DO NOTHING!

Ok lets look at a tree for example There is the branches and the body of the tree and the fruits of the tree now what would happen if the branches fell? they would be crushed by peoples feet, burned, or they can dry up and die or whither away

Ok now think of that spiritual , when branches fall from the true vine they are crushed by the world , they whither away just like it says in the word of God in verse 6 " if a man NOT abideth in me he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered ; and men gather them and cast them into the fire, AND they are BURNED" e whither and dry up when you break away from God! but with Jesus we Grow! and grow fruits!!

Verse 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
so if we ask and we are abiding in Him and His words are abiding in us also then it shall be given to us

Verse 8 herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit: so shall ye be my disciples

so when our fruits grow (our fruits in the spirit) Our Heavenly Father is glorified! and that means it means God HAPPY! and you do want to make God happy

now the last verse says Verse 9 As the Father Hath loved me, so have i Loved you: continue ye in my love.

So Our Father loves Jesus and Jesus loves us its like a chain , a LOVE chain take for example parents and their children the Mother loves the dad and the parents love their children thats how God is He is the parent and He loves His children
