so I've started today with the Holy Spirit program.

I find it really cool to work on my relationship with the Holy Spirit and I'm excited to see what will happen in this program. Intimacy with Him is really important and I really want to work on it.

Reading this study about trinity was interesting and the song is actually my ringtone, so that's funny. it's a good song.

but I like the way the study talks, about a friend instead of a distant spirit. it makes it easier to understand how to build and maintain a friendship with the Holy Spirit. so yeah, so far so good

step 2.

I know I have had encounters with the Holy Spirit before, but to read it like this how often we have encounters with the Holy Spirit is just really interesting. I mean, I didn't realize that it was so often. I think that I missed 90 percent by thinking it was just my intuition or emotions, but now that I'm aware of it, I can easier bring it back to the Holy Spirit and ask for advice.

reading this identity study was again interesting. I read it in one of the other programs I did and I still am really fond of the song who am I. for me the studies are sometimes really challenging, as reading is not really my thing. I mean, I like reading, but a picture or song does just speak more to me. so to read the study again and then listen to the song was the best thing to do to let it enter my heart.
I just read a study with my mind and a song or picture enters my heart more quickly, and touches the emotions which is good.

I still like it to get to know the Holy Spirit better, I know He is gentle and tender and sweet, but it's sometimes hard as well, as I struggle with intimacy. I know that by doing this study and challenging myself God can continue the healing process in my life and I'm rebuilding my trust in God, which is a good thing. so if you guys could pray for courage and strength to keep going, that would be great, cause I'm getting close to the point of surrender and trusting fully again and it's getting tougher because of that, like a battle, so I could use your prayer.

You definitely have my prayers sis. Sometimes it's difficult to Trust when one struggles with past mistrusts...but as you know the Holy Spirit wants you to Trust Him with ever part of your life and your day...continue working through the steps, as well as work on just sitting and spending time in His presence...and your relationship with Him will continue to grow.

step 3. The Holy Spirit working through you.

I've seen the Holy Spirit work through me. I've done things that I didn't even know that I could do and yet I did them to glorify God's name. I'm not a speaker, yet I spoke for about 200 men to preach the gospel, to teach from God's word. I know that when God uses you, when His Holy Spirit works throug you, that you are able to do amazing things.

I know what dreams I have, I know what kind of future I could have. I know that with the right connections I could get really high on the status ladder. But today I'm choosing to lay that down, to trust God, to trust His dreams and plans for me and to surrender to Him. for me that's really scary, cause I still have trust issues, but I sense it's ok to struggle, that's the choice it's all about. so yeah, I open the door of desire and start doing... I truly wanna go after God through His Spirit, so choosing to trust is what it takes today.

Hey sis...the things the Holy Spirit can do through us is truly amazing when we are His willing vessel. It's really not a skill we have that is required, and it's not knowledge we have that is required...all that is required is for us to allow Him to use us for His purpose. It's good to see you doing that.
