Hi bacchus...there is something I want to share with you. I believe the Lord wants to use you in a mighty way. You have so much Biblical knowledge to share. I read the Endtimes forum...every single post...even though I don't post there much...I still read...and recently you shared on a thread about scriptures in Daniel that were being discussed...and what you shared was definitely Holy Spirit inspired. I think you have much to offer here at the Oasis...you have a gift of interpreting scripture well and putting different scriptures together to form a picture that is very easy to understand.
Now that being said...we all have times we will disagree with another on something that is being discussed here and there....I've encountered this many times....but I've learned to agree to disagree and continue serving the Lord as He asks.
I'm so glad you are being blessed by the Lord. Enjoy the pool I will say they are a LOT of work We have one at my job...and yes it's fun...but it's work.
Take care and God Bless you.

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Maybe it's just not God's time yet for the forum...it doesn't mean He is saying no...He may be still preparing you.
I know everything you share is with love and only good intentions. Same goes for me...but I've been told I have come off as haughty before...even though that was never my intent...sometimes computers are so cold feeling...if only they could see the smile on our faces when we share.
You too are a good friend bacchus...and I luv ya.

Hello Bacc
God bless you this day.
Bacc, I don't know of a time I've ever been as challenged as I am now since I stepped into my calling given me by The Lord. More people dislike me, even more hate me, and I receive very few confirmations from others that what I'm doing amounts to a hill of beans, mostly I get opposition. Yet, I've never had more peace and joy in my life, nor have I ever felt so loved of The Lord. No, The Lord doesn't love me more now, I just feel it more.
I found through this walk with Him, He does shine a big Light on me, and I can see every itsy bitsy sin in myself, as well as the big, huge ones. It's His blessed Refiner's fire, burning off the chaff. So while I share from the level of understanding I have -- flawed as it may be -- He is changing me. Is it uncomfortable at times? You bet it is. Do I want to run from it? Yes, initially ...more times than not I do want to run. But I am reminded of all those before me, even those in The Bible who squirmed, yelped, ran, cried, twisted and turned yet they could not stay away because their love of The Lord was their true lifeline.
Jesus said it's easy to love those that love us, but I want you to love your enemies. Wow!!! Some days that seems that's all that is around us...enemies. But, is it the truth? No, because The Lord loves us, and He is the One Who called us.
Bacc, we've known of one another for close to 5 years now. We've disagreed on many scripture passages and what they mean. Yet, a little over 4 1/2 years ago you and I were chatting and I told you how angry and scared I was and that I didn't feel any peace in my life. You told me to go and read every scripture I could find on God's peace, and to pray for Him to reveal it to me. I did and He did. My life was forever changed the moment He blanketed me in His glorious peace. Had you not shared what you did that day in Chat, I might still be lost in my anger, even though I was and had been born again 23 years.
We'll not run out of opposition in this walk. But we'll not run out of His love and His peace either, as long as He keeps the home fires burning.
Something's burning...Something's burning...Something's burning, and I think it's Love.
God bless and keep you, Bacc.
Love,
Mack

Hello Bacc
It's me again.
I had to come back because twice I was interrupted when trying to rely to you, so I closed out my post before I had shared all that I wanted to.
Firstly, thank you for your kindness and for your encouragement.
I love hearing about the deer. I can only imagine, as I've not had the good fortune of watching deer for more than a glimpse now and again, but never in my own yard. Wow, I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
Hubby and I have a very small back yard, but we really enjoy watching the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, bees, dragonflies, and an occasional bunny and even a groundhog a few times last year. Last month we both remarked how we had not seen any chipmunks this year. It was kinda sad, they are such cute little creatures. But, Sunday while sitting out on the back porch, hubby said with such excitement...look, there's a chipmunk, pointing as he said it. I looked in that direction and awwwwwwwwwww, there he was sitting on his back haunches eating some of the overspill from the birdfeeders. We were both so happy to see the little fellow. Too cute!!!

Oh yes, I've experienced that many, many times. It has to come out. It reminds me of the scriptures where The Lord says to various prophets... speak...say this...tell them...
It may end up being for my own growth only, but I felt the need to speak it or write it so others could read it. Maybe it has something to do about there being a witness, and/or a test to our obedience.
God is so very Good.
God bless and keep you.
Love,
Mack

the things I write sometimes are just meant for me and I need to get it out there and not inside....
