Come to me Daughter of mine,
Don't you see, I heard your cry.
You searched and searched, but found no hope,
you were barely hanging on to the end of the rope.

I sent people your way to lead you to me,
but no matter what they did, you still wouldn't believe.
You blamed me for the longest time,
for allowing you to be the victim of someone elses crime.

But daughter, I want you to know that yes, I was there,
I don't believe what happened to you was fair.
I want you to read the gospel, everything I went through,
and ask yourself "Why'd that happen? What did He do?"

Daughter I died on the cross for all sinners, including you,
I don't care about the things you do.
Don't be ashamed, Im here to help,
I know I can't erase all the pain you've felt.

But Im here to make you clean,
to mold you into a righteuos being.
Please daughter, don't turn from me,
Im here to help set you free.

You're not alone, you're not a disgrace,
and your definately not taking up space.
You're going to grow into a mighty soldier,
afterall, you're already becoming my beautiful warrior.
