Postby lizzie » Sun Apr 04, 2010 1:11 pm

Just wondering, when you guys hear this statement,

The Word Became Flesh

what it brings to your mind. No right or wrong answer or anything, just what you guys get from those words.

Thanks for your input *hug* Happy Easter! *GroupHug*

The first time I began to grasped that concept I was literaly stopped in my tracks. I froze. My breathe escaped me. I had suddenly realized the Word was God. That ment this was God in the flesh. God made himself, man. My head was spinning. I felt as though I had stepped into a different world.

Now understand this:
..."the Word was God" (John 1:1)
If I have the Word in me,
then God is in me.

Blows my mind away!
Can you imagine the possiblities?

Like most of things connected with Jesus this one is "magic" too..Word of

Law came on earth in Person of man,Jesus :)

Maybe there is no magic into it,maybe it is normal for those guys on heaven but it is magic to me :-)

Also, there is movie(I have to comment it) where bread during mass became flesh, that happened to priest which lost his faith and wanted to leave service for good.

Word became flesh cos we all lost faith in God,One who created all this we see, feel and know:-)

its interesting that the translation of "Word" in our english is as a noun ... but what i have found is that it isn't a noun ... its a verb. therefore, to me, the word "Word" is a moving/action word ... not stationary. logos comes from the word lego which means: to put out there or put forward ... so to me it means always moving for the benefit of the plan; not waiting, not sitting still ... not doing nuthin ... but always doing something.
