Thanks so much! I did enjoy my time in Proverbs. I have found, much to my delight at this time, that the entire book is a parable of the Lord containing many hidden truths Paul actually expounds on in his epistles. My hang up right now is in understanding the 12 fruits grown by the Tree of Life presented toward the end of the Book of Revelation. Paul talks of 9 fruits of the Spirit in Galatians, but urges us to pray for the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding in the Knowledge of our Lord elsewhere. Since Proverbs explains the Tree of Life as being the Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge of God, I am wondering if these 3 additional fruits of the Spirit complete the 12 fruits of the Tree of Life in Revelation????

Hello brother saint
You always have the most thought provoking questions I luv it!
Will be spending some time in study this weekend on the following scripture
Revelation 22:2-3 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
and will share my thoughts on your question Looking fwd to others input on this also. I gotta say till u asked this i never even thought about the actual fruits, but usually focused on the leaves of the tree in that scripture. Will be nice to delve a lil deeper into this.
GBU brother Love to u in the Lord

The Tree of Life
Hi Lizzie, All,
Blessings!
Have been waiting on your sharing your thoughts. What did you learn? I just want to point out that in both Proverbs and the Book of Revelation, The Tree of Life is presented as "she.", (her). This is also food for further study. So now I ask this question, is The Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden, "she?" And if so, who is "she?"
As for me asking profound questions. They aren't of much value if we do not find out the answers. But if we find them out, then we do glorify the Holy Spirit, as only in Him are the answers. It is only as we ask the Holy Spirit to search out a matter hidden in Christ, that the Spirit of Truth is revealed in His working on our behalf.
As it is written, "He,"
Blessings!

good day to you both ~
here's my take on the "she" thing. God is referred to as a He, yet we know that there is no male or female or slave or owner etc in the spiritual world/realm. i believe that God does this for our ease of understanding in our finite minds. i also believe that these fruits of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge are different parts of the personality of the Holy Spirit ... which enable us to grow in the other fruits.
that was an excellent question!! thanks saint

Hi brother saint im gonna be posting my thoughts here this weekend hopefully, been an exhaustingly busy couple of weeks, BUT
I did wanna quickly comment on the 'she' thing.
A lot of times things that 'bear' or give life to other things, is referred to as female, of course referencing a female's ability to give birth. So it could just be that because a tree bears fruit, reproduces, brings forth another thing of its kind, its referred to as female 'she' and not for any other specific reason.
I gotta scoot, but will be back here this weekend to share my take on the original question.
Luv u folks

Could be?
Hi Vahn, All,
Blessings!
I suppose..why not? Much more could be written on this topic, and more questions asked. For example: Why did those creatures of God that ate of the Tree of Life later decide to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil?
We have seen that The Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden, and later on in the Life of Soloman was a giver of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. However, if we examine That Tree of Life according to the lives of the creatures that fell, and the life of Solomon, such seemed to have limitations. What was missing?
Blessings!
