Hello again ...

I would like to begin the ABC process to have those who want and need a friend to be there when temptation arises.

You know, watch a movie with em, listen to music with em, talk with em, etc. ...

Modern technology has provided some cool methods of friends being able to be there in spirit ... Tho not physically.

Now, it has been brought up that there may be a gender issue.

Very interesting point.

Do you guys and gals feel it should be boy - boy and girl - girl only?

Should it be based on ones who have overcome or are overcoming and those who are knee deep? Despite gender?

Are we fearing this turning into cyber sex between those involved and this becoming the Oasis Orgy?

Tell me whatcha think, so we can begin the ABC process.

O boy- boy or girl-girl not to sure about this. What if the person is dealing with issues with the same sex?
Although I do believe that the buddy system would be a good idea.

Maybe let them choose? Like Tam said..some have an addiction with same sex and may need an opposite accountability partner.

I agree,I think it should be a choice.

However, perhaps such could be coordinated by an Overseer or Group thereof... that way those seeking a partner aren't choosing the one "they want", for whatever reason.

Is it possible to allow an "application" of sorts. Those seeking a partner could submit a request having chosen male or female and a small space to comment, should they so choose? With the clear understanding added that it is meant to be a Buddy and not a match making service? The member seeking a buddy could then be paired with another who has come forward as a "volunteer" for such.

Just my two cents worth... you can get a refund at the door

The program that O is speaking of would be volunteer based.... IF you want or need a friend...

Right now, we are trying to gather input and ideas on how to make the program work....

At least this is my understanding.
