So I am starting the 14 day program , I am kinda confused as to what i'm supposed to do on the first day , I believe it was to right down what s going on , thoughts and concerns etc.

Well lately I've been going through a lot and its causing me to loose faith and its making me grow away from Christ.

and I know I'm rusty on just about every topic in thebible...

I'm worried I'm going to hell...and I'm very stressed out and my bipolar seems to be getting worse...I'm trying to remember things will get better, but when i get in the depressive state it gets really hard..

Thats it for now..

il promise i;ll try and do this every day , but im not always around a computer

yay uppy! *angelbounce* so cool to see u on this journey sis *hug*

Been here myself and I promise u, if u give God these 14 days, u wont regret it :)

Yep the journal aspect of the program is for you to just jot down whatever is on ur mind, whether it be a question, or a part of the day's study, or something that happened, etc.

Just take it one step at a time, do ur best to stick to the guidelines of the program, and if u should miss a day, just come back the next day and pick up where u left off :)

Well lately I've been going through a lot and its causing me to loose faith and its making me grow away from Christ.

I see trials in life as two major things:
1- as a distraction which if I allow it to, can take my focus off the Lord
2- as an opportunity, a way by which I can strengthen my faith by trusting God even thru the dark and difficult times

God can take those very same trials, that may be designed by the enemy to distract and discourage us, and make us stronger in faith and character. But we gotta lean on Him during the difficult times, and not allow ourselves to drift away. And if we should drift, we need to know that all thats necessary is for us to change direction and head back onto the right path. Satan may lie to us and tell us that we cant go back, that we are too far gone, that God doesnt want us back, etc. All Lies. God sacrificed so much to reconcile us to Him, He knows our weaknesses and our sins, past present and future, but gave His Son for us anyway. Would this same God abandon us or turn us away now? Nope, He waits patiently with open arms for us to return :) Dont believe the lies of the enemy.

I know I'm rusty on just about every topic in thebible

Never too late to get back into the Word :)

You are on the right track missy. Im super proud of you for taking this step towards strengthening your relationship with God. As you know, the bible tells us that we are to seek the Kingdomof God first, and the rest will be given unto us.

Looking forward to your future posts *hug*

God bless u always little sister.

P.S. Luvin the hair *angelbounce*

Hi Uppy, i can only echo what Lizzie has said here. What we place our focus on is what consumes our minds. You will find so much truth and healing in this program, through the Lord's truth.

Im praying for you, sis. Know you arent alone.

Welcome to the Counseling Program. So awesome to see you beginning a pathway to help you find the Hope you are seeking. Sounds like you've been having a bit of a rough time. But...soon you will begin to see that you don't have to ride the tide alone. You have a friend waiting to help you...His name is Jesus. I know you don't feel very close to Him right now, but as you seek Him more and more...you will begin to feel His presence surrounding you. He wants you to know that He loves you and that He is there for you. He wants to talk and share with you. He wants you to tell Him what's going on and how you feel and why. Yes He already knows, but He likes when you talk to Him, and He wants to share back.

Praying for you sis. You've made a big step today in starting the steps. Cheering for ya.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Hi Uppy. Good to see you back.

Try eating something healthy and getting a little exercise. It helps a bundle with the adhd. :)

People judge. That's just a sad fact. Seek inside to choose how you would dress, for you, no one else and then take it before the Lord to see if he's pleased. If the two of you are well pleased then add a smile. :) And you are good to go.

Some try to cause us to conform so we are all the same. Nice little puppets walking the same, talking the same, and dressing the same. Yuck! No thank you.
Be who you are meant to be, not who they want you to be.

Someone just described me as a hippie. *Eyebrow* I aint no hippie.
Besides if I were what's it to them? I ain't hurting no one.

Enjoy finding the girl you were created to be. Ask the Lord to show you. It's a fun adventure.

ABSOLUTELY

I think that some people get so caught up in the little things, that they forget the Main thing... whats the main thing? I think John 3:16 sums it all up

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God sees the REAL you, which is your soul. That part of you that only others who are walking with God will be able to see, as one needs spiritual eyesight to see spiritual things. All the rest is gravy compared to whats within your heart. Our body will fade away, but it is our soul that remains for eternity. So worry not about whats on the outside, but rather pay attention to that part of you that is eternal. Forgive and pray for those who judge you, they may have been judged themselves, or dont even realize what they are doing sometimes. But dont let others words define who you are.

You just keep trying your best little sister. If its too much for you to read all at once, try splitting each step up into sections, and doing a couple paragraphs at a time, maybe part in the morning, part at nite, etc, so that u wont lose concentration. God sees your effort *hug*

So I realized I'm saved by God's grace, I just wish I was able to show a certain someone His grace and love. For there is some one I want to so badly to accept Christ. I think he MAY be open to it, but some time's I have my doubts..

Hi sugarpie *hug*

Thats right, its all about Grace. So its not what we do, but rather what Christ has done, cuz no amount of good we do in our entire lives, could ever make us perfectly holy. But by the blood of Christ, our sins, past present and future, are wiped away, and we are righteousness in Him. And it is because of His Grace, that we find ourselves wanting to do the right thing, out of love for Jesus who loved us first. Pretty mind boggling concept, this Grace thing :) but I think we gain a greater understanding of it at each step of our relationship with the Lord.

What a loving young lady you are, to want for others what you already have :)

Thing about God's Grace is... its simply a gift. Available to all... but we must choose to accept it.

Now you cant change someone's heart, or force em into anything, as you already know... but what you can do is continue to plant seeds thru example if they arent open to words, and pray and trust God to do the increase :) Just the fact that you think your friend 'MAY' be opened to accepting the Lord, is encouraging :)

So u carry on little sister. Shine that Light for all to see. God is using you as a witness to others.

I loooove u *hug*

keep praying for this soul, uppy...and keep planting seeds...letting the Lord work through you. This friend of yours is God's too. He will have to choose for himself, but, God loves him and knows how to reach him, too. Keep letting Him work in you, and His light will continue to shine through you to those around you.

standing with you and praying with you, too.

Day 4 (done in the middle of the AM. lol)

So I'm trying to learn to forgive AND to let myself be forgiven.

right now I really think I need to try and forgive my boyfriends room mates for what they are doing to him. basically, they are giving him til march to find a new place, when they know he is going through a hard time financially and it was basically his place to begin with....I am very angry about that.

I also need to forgive one of the people I work with, because they really upset me today, they came at me with a rude response when a simple "no" would suffice (spelling?)

There are probably other people I need to forgive and I will be thinking about that alot lately.
