Day 5
Today started out as a really good day. But then something happened and I don't even know what it was but now I'm back to where I was on Day 1. This is probably going to sound stupid, but I think the fact that the enemy knows I'm not going to do what he wants me to is making him try harder to get me to do it. Like I want to even more than I did before. It's killing me--which means I may not have to do it myself .
Tomorrow will be better.
Tomorrow will be better.

you're right rev, the enemy doesn't want to lose you so he will try hard to keep you but now that you know, you can ignore it and keep reaching for the light. Don't listen to the lies. Don't have fear and doubt about what you are trying to do.
You are doing great!
You are doing great!
It is better to light a candle then curse the darkness
No fear... just freedom
No fear... just freedom

YOu can do it
Just take one day at a time. Every day is a new day and another day to look to God for streanght. Don't worry about the devil of course he wants us all to fail BUT he is defeated and we are overcomers in Christ Jesus!
Don't give up tomorrow will be better.

Hello Revanto
God bless you this day.

This happens a lot with almost anything, when you think about it. Let's say someone decides to diet, it seems whatever the diet limits us from eating, are the very things we start craving. I remember being on a diet one time and it was so limiting that I couldn't even eat peas. No problem, I thought, but then one night my hubby was eating dinner and as he put a fork full of peas into his mouth, I actually found myself wanting to grab his fork and gobble those peas up. Who'd a thunk? Peas, no less??? Odd, I tell ya, just odd.
Our flesh can be so fickle -- one minute wanting this, the next minute wanting that. But one cool thing to note, usually if we can distract our thoughts, the yearning or craving dissipates.
It's a process. Habits take a while to break, just as it took a while for us to develop them. The key is to introduce new habits, ones that are good and wholesome into our arsenal. Keep feeding yourself The Word, and talking with The Lord, and hanging out with other Christians.

Keep up that hope.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
God bless you.

Revanto, Hi sis I tried to answer your post earlier, but never could get it to post. Sometimes in the midst of healing the enemy comes by and tries to shake us up...trying to keep us down....so if you've had a little bump in the road...step over it sis...you don't have to twist your ankle on it....show the enemy that your not going to let Him win...and get back to the steps. Tomorrow always holds a promise of a better day...because it's a new day made with new hopes. Hold on to that hope and you will see changes happen even when your going through trials.
Praying for you sis.
luv ya

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
