My greatgrandmother

Postby bkmdano » Sat Nov 28, 2009 1:59 pm

well, my great gram passed away and the funeral was Monday...it was tough to see her go, yet a happy time knowing she had lived 96 years. She had a stroke 7 years ago and didn't know anybody. Now, she's living with her savior, pain free, confusion free, safe in His arms!! Colleen and i were asked to sing 3 songs during the funeral, and i wasn't sure how that was going to go. I asked for the prayers of the saints to be with us during that time, and i truly felt God's presence there! I couldn't sing Amazing Grace, it was to be sung right after we said words about her, and i was too choked up, but my loving wife Colleen did a great job, i just kinda strummed along. I now can't wait to get to heaven and see her new body! God is so good!

Aw Dano, you were blessed to have 95 years with your precious great grandmother.

Brother I am sure she was blessed by your music. I can just see her looking down and telling everyone in heaven that's my greatgrandson. Chokes me up thinking of it.

I know you'll miss her. Keep those memories. Mostly keep the promise of your future together. Eternity in peace, love, joy. Every tear washed away.

Give your precious wife a hug for me and kiss that wonderful baby for me.

God bless and keep you dano. He smiles down on you, his son.

luv ya bro
