Journal Day Two

Postby Guest » Sun Oct 04, 2009 2:22 pm

I started the day of a little sad because of my failure to forget my past, but then I logged on to read step two and besides that being a good step I also had some wonderful messages form folks. That really mad me feel good. I knew that I just started so I know that I have to take things one day at a time. My problem (one out of many lol) is my patience. I belive with all my hart that it will be ok. Until tomorrow .

Peace and love and GOd Bless *Pray*

Patience huh? Wow, you can't be like the majority of us who want what we want now could you? *laughter* I think many struggle with patience. Waiting can be so difficult, especially if your in the midst of trials. But, what we can do while waiting is draw nearer to God. Then the wait won't seem so long, and the trial won't hit us so hard.

Step 2 is about weeding the garden. So when you find yourself sad and discouraged, pull the weeds that are making you feel this way, and plant seeds of hope in their place. Keep working on the steps.

Take care and God Bless
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

hey bluebird...welcome to Oasis! Know that you have been led here by the Lord, bro..cuz He has so much to show you..and He doesnt do anything by accident.

I remember i used to think that if i prayed for patience one nite, id wake up and magically have been struck overnite with the bolt of "patience-lightning" rofl. Bro, only through the trials and tribulations will we learn patience. When we realize that God uses these things to bring about the fruits of the Spirit, we understand that it takes time and work. He is beginning a work in you that you havent known before...by leading you through these steps. Forgiveness...for yourself...well...bro, forgiveness is the gift from the Lord..what Jesus did on the cross for you and for me..for all His children, was enough. It covers all and is sufficient. If it werent, there would have been no need for His sacrifice. Take hold of that truth and walk free in the knowledge that God HAS forgiven you if you have asked Him too..and you are a child of the King. Walk free from it. Shed the chains and listen to what He says. God bless, you bro. and am looking forward to walking this walk with you.

in Jesus,
momo *Pray*
