i'm a little tired to start diving in to step 3.....had a difficult day....but it got a little better this evening.
On top of everything else I've been struggling so much with my wonderful son. This too shall pass....it's what i keep telling myself. *Pray* I know i just need to give it to God and let Him help me through.

yesterday was mentally and spiritually exhausting. But i did force myself to go to church....which was good because the message was awesome. don't want to share just yet. sometimes God gives us jewels we get to hold on to for a little while....this one is mine....but i'll share once God tells me to.

Anyways....i will try for step 3 tomorrow.

Step 3

Postby Guest » Tue Oct 06, 2009 11:57 pm

So....well a lot for me has happened since I was able to post on here last.

Redemption and really feeling redeemed. I have an awesome pastor and church to allow the Holy Spirit to move in such a way that prayers and needs are met by God right then and there.

I have struggled with not being able to feel like i am worth saving....that i've messed up too much to receive God's grace and mercy and love without feeling guilty and condemnation. Well....Since that service...God has opened my eyes to see that He died to give me that freedom of condemnation...and i always knew that...but still never felt like it was mine....like i still didn't feel like i could be free of the past and the fears of failing. God is sooo good!

I guess step 3 helped me prepare for those services. Thank God for that. I have been set free and now I can try to move on with the other areas God needs to work on. I am so blessed to serve a God who cares.

Awesome Psalm! *Ohyeah* It's great to hear.
Now Keep a tight hold on all that. The enemy will try to take it away. Stand firm and keep reminding yourself that you are worthy through the grace and blood of Christ. It's not about what you've done, but about what God has done. God bless and keep you.

*Pray*

Praise God!! *angelbounce* You are redeemed my friend, and now that you have accepted the gift of grace that Jesus has so freely offered to you, you will begin to see life move in new ways. See you are a new creature in Christ now and He will begin to make changes within You that will glorify Him. I'm so excited. I can't wait to see what He has coming up for you. There's a song called He's still working on me....I think we can all relate to that one...He is working on you for sure.

so i'm on step 5 now

Postby Guest » Mon Oct 26, 2009 12:21 am

ok so i skipped posting for a few days....lol ok maybe longer.

I'm getting back on track now......or at least going to try again. The devil has been attacking spiritually and mentally and physically.....

some of it was my own doing...letting him get a piece of my mind when i should have stood up and said NO! but i am getting back up and trying again.

Step 5 was to list or admit all of the areas of struggle:

i've allowed the enemy to have access to my joy, happiness, stability, strength;i've allowed him to replace it with fear, loneliness, frustration, resentment, bitterness, anger.

I am taking a stand....the enemy has held me captive long enough.....and i am tired of it.....i'm not going to give up no matter what comes at me....I choose to worship, praise and live for God and Him alone. I am taking a stand and even if i fall i will ask God to help pick me back up and try again.

hey Psalms *hug* Amen sis!

ya know, isnt that where alot of the battle is? in the mind? What better way for the enemy to come in and kill, steal, and destroy....kill that joy, steal the happiness, stability, strength, and destroy our hope? Greater is He in you than he who is the world. When the enemy whispers, dont even have conversation with him. You dont have to. The Lord rebuke him. Replace what he is whispering to you with the truth...just as you are..through praise and worship, seeking His truth in His word and prayer, being still in His presence and just letting Him love on you.

Keep going sis. Its so awesome to watch how the Holy Spirit is moving in your life..and know...that while you are on this path, His light and love and healing is shining through you.

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*

Now that's the Spirit in you talking :) Your now getting up and getting back to the path. God is smiling on you.

So the enemy has been chasing you huh? Well that says your doing something good. See you are becoming a threat to him, so hence he tries to attack you. But just remember when the attacks come, that you serve a God that is bigger than the enemy and he isn't going to win.

I'm so happy that your picking up with the steps. Time to finish the race.
