Oh baby, you don't have to apologize to us, you just have to get out of that hole that you are stuck in.
Angel, I was lost too when I was younger... I was always looking for something and would drink or get high because there seemed to be nothing else to make me numb but I have to tell you, since I found God, I have never been happier.
I know that this world has made thinking that a freakish thing, how could it be possible but it truly is or we wouldn't all be here telling you how our lives were messed up until we made this decision.
Ever see the cartoons where a person has the devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other? It really is like that. The angel/conscience is telling you what you should do and the devil/enemy is whispering in your ear to keep you from being happy. That is why it is so confusing and doubt that being happy is possible.
So what can you do now? Ask God to forgive you (He will) Ask Jesus into your life and make the Holy Spirit real to you. And ask God to bring you Christian friends. This site is fantastic with friends all around and fantastic studies that help you to understand how God works but you want to surround yourself with God's people.

hey sis. You arent alone. Time to pick up, dust off and move forward. We all fall. Seek His truth, sis. Its so different from what you see. You are not who you see yourself to be. See you through His eyes. That's where the truth is. He already sees that. Seek His view of you. It's never too late.

First let me say, it has been awesome talking with you!!!
To see 10 pages of posts, of people encouraging you, walking beside you and trying to uplift you.... tells me only pain and darkness has blinded you into thinking you are alone.
Please, open your eyes... open the eyes of your heart and see the love He is bringing to you. There are so many caring spiritual souls here, all of whom embrace and love you... The lost little girl and the outer shell you hide her in, as you put it.
I cannot possibly add to what has been shared already expect to say... on more person honored to walk along side you!
I don't know what advice offered has been tested, tried... but I echo all of it... please consider the study program, if you've done so already, consider it again... You are most certainly NOT alone!!!!

Oh stress. I know that to well. It can cause someone to be physically ill. It can even cause very serious medical conditions. This is one of the reasons God wants us to lean on him and trust him to tend to every need. It is so difficult at times. Yet when we do, we find that peace that he promises.
Reminds me of that old hymn, Trust and Obey.
When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Refrain:
Trust and obey, for there's no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
