Sept 8

2 Corinthians 1:4
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

I read this verse this morning and I know that the deep pain I feel now with the lose of my husband will some day be used to comfort someone else.

I need to keep in constant prayer about this. Yesterday was a bad day.
I cried and cried. Then a dear friend talked to me on the phone and told me to get out and do something... like take a walk!
So I did. I look forward to my walk today.
I know it will be a slow time of healing but God is there comforting me if I only let Him

Sylvia , terribly sorry to hear about your loss , I am just now hearing about it .
I can only share with you of how I dealt with my loss , with utter confusion . Knowing the fact that at that state that there are no words that any human can answer , I had to come to the realization that I am one of those humans and that I too dont have any answers . "The secret things belong to the Lord our God " which will be revealed to us thru His Son .
What I did , as difficult as it was at the time is , absolutely nothing , which is all I could do at the time . Just draw closer to Him sis , He'll make it easier . and, the best way to get out of my head is to get into someone else's .

*hug*

I praise God for the promise that we will one day be with our loved ones again.

In the mean time the pain is so deep. As if a sword stabbed in our sides.

Keep the faith Sylvia. You are being used by God NOW. Not just someday.

Know that you are loved.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

God's timing was right for my dear sylvia when I called and she was crying her eyes out. I knew nothing to say but take a walk. I called again that night and God had comforted her.
You are an inspiration to me dear! I am praying for your upcoming surgery too.

Never know what a simple few words will do for a friend. I'm thankful God used me yesterday to check on her.

God has a plan for you Sylvia. And you KNOW He is REAL.

Luv Ya

May the Lord place His loving and comforting arms around you and give your heart peace and love during this time of pain and sorrow. Peace in knowing that your loved one is with Him now, just as one day when His timing is right for you, you too will be. My heart goes out to you dear sister in Christ, and I pray for you, now and always.

Sincerely,

Breezy

"Though now you do not see Him,

(in 1 Peter 1:8)

All he has been for you will stay with you. And God will give increase.

"whom having not seen you love.
Though now you do not see Him,

. . . . .yet believing,
you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
receiving the end of your faith---
the salvation of your souls."
