Hello Pamela *hug*

God bless you this day.

I was so glad to hear from you -- you have been on the hearts and in the prayers of many here. I'm sorry to hear you have been so sick, requiring hospitalization, but oh so grateful to God to hear that He has surrounded you with such awesome and loving support.

Thank You Lord: Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Pamela, you continue in my prayers. God's blessed will be done.

Love,
Mack

Today I called Oncology.

I described to my nurse how I'd had another bad reaction to chemo and had been hospitalized 6 days.

She said I'd be seeing my Oncologist on 8-11-09 in his office. Then the same day, Chemo #5 would be administered.

The following day (Wednesday) I will have my Neulasta injection to boost my white cell count.

Early Thursday morning, when the bad reaction to chemo begins, a friend will take me to Admitting (rather than the ER) and I will be directly admitted to the hospital. Hopefully this will result in a less severe reaction and a shorter hospitalization.

This is a much better plan than having me get very sick and languish in the ER for 7 - 12 hours while an available hospital room is being waited for.

I praise God for His excellent care!

Love & hugs from your sister in Christ--------------------

Hello, my brothers and sisters in Christ-----

I had Chemo #5 today. All went smoothly. I feel exhausted.

Today I had an appointment with my Oncologist. He wants to try and avoid hospitalization for me.

His plan is for me to come in to oncology Thursday and Friday for Zofran and fluids via IV. If I am sick the following week, I am to come in to Oncology every day, if necessary.

I praise God for this arrangement. I am much more comfortable in my own home, my own bed.

I asked my Oncologist why they wanted to shrink the tumor before removing it. He answered that they wanted to see how well my chemo meds worked. He also said that since I am in a high grade, late advanced stage, he feels that "the cat is out of the bag" and that since the cancer has invaded my lymph nodes, that it is already metastasizing in my body. I was dismayed to hear that.

God will continue to take excellent, personal, gentle loving care of me!

Love & hugs to you all----------

PAMELA
