Hello, everyone:
Thank you for your kind and heartfelt prayers.
Today I had the biopsy on the mole at the hospital. All went smoothly and well.
I've been having intermittent, sharp burning pain in my left foot since January '09. I have told two doctors about it, and they have said and done nothing.
For a month, the pain has been constant and severe.
It's to the point that I can hardly walk, the pain is so intense.
Today I mentioned it to this doctor, and she listened---sent me to X-ray.
I'll have the results of both tests in a week.
Praise God for taking care of us, His children!
Love and hugs in Christ----------
PAMELA

Wow, Pamela! You continue to be blessed throughout all of this! The blessings just don't stop!
If anyone ever wondered how we could glorify and praise God when going through such things or even wondered if God is with us at all, they simply need to read your words in this thread. They will see proof that He is great and loving and He is there for us even in our pain and suffering.
Will continue to pray for ya, Pamela! God bless and keep you always!

On April 6, 2009, all my test results came back POSITIVE for Stage IIIA advanced breast cancer with lymph node involvement.
I have had only 2 chemotherapy treatments.
It appears at this time that GOD has worked the most mighty, incredible miracle!
I must, of course, have everything verified by my oncologist and surgeon.
Today, Friday June 19th, at 8:05 pm, I was laying down. Something told me to look at my upper torso in the mirror.
I did, and saw NO EVIDENCE of the severe swelling that has been present for months!
I was very happy about this, and went back and laid down because I was tired.
Something told me to do an exam.
I did.
Until as recently as 2 days ago, there was a hard-as-a-rock, immovable mass.
THE MASS (TUMOR) IS GONE!
How I thank and praise Almighty God for answering prayers!
And I thank you all for your beautiful, heart-felt prayers.
I only asked for the strength to endure chemo and mastectomy.
I knew I didn't have the faith to be healed.
I prayed and thanked God.
Then, I called my Senior Pastor's wife. She was elated.
Monday, I will call Oncology and/or Surgery, and make an appointment to get this verified.
I am in shock. I feel awed, humbled. A little confused.
I'm so happy!
I don't know what else to say!!!
Praise You, Lord Jesus!!!
Love in Christ------

Today, I am so thankful------
My surgeon examined me. He also CANNOT LOCATE the tumor! The swelling is gone!
He said I was not "healed" of cancer, that I've had a remarkable response to just two chemo treatments. He said it is "very rare" for a patient to get such good results so soon!
Praise God---he hears our prayers!
The doctor said the tumor is still there, and I will still need a full 6 months of chemo, followed by modified radical mastectomy on the right, and mastectomy on the left. He said I will also need radiation.
He was very happy for me.
I am elated! THANK YOU, everyone, for your prayers!
How I thank and praise our gentle, loving Jesus!
Chemo #3 on 6-30-09. My last chemo is: Tuesday, Oct. 13th.
Love and hugs from----

Hello, my brothers and sisters in Christ-----
Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and kind comments.
God is so EXCELLENT! How I praise Him for the incredible tumor shrinkage thus far!
Tomorrow, June 30th, a friend is taking me for Chemo #3. It takes 8 hours for my chemo meds to be administered through the port in my chest.
I have been advised that chemo has a cumulative effect. The more treatments you have, the worse you feel. This is the effect of Taxotere, Carboplatin and Herceptin.
Also, tomorrow will be the last chemo administration in which I'm at risk for a severe reaction---the 2nd and 3rd administrations are crucial.
I would appreciate your continued prayer.
Love and hugs in Christ----
