11/14 on my way to the lord.

Postby cl0udstr1fe » Sun May 24, 2009 10:03 pm

I can feel the lord changing me from the inside out. I wish I could focus more on him, i get so trampled by the stresses of just getting through my day. Making sure my kids have enough to eat, clothes, electricity, a roof. It's so tough just to get through. But I love my family and am willing to sacrifice anything short of god to provide. I just dont understand my wife. Today I saw one of her recent chat rooms was entitled "20's Singles" Which stings. She is not single.... anyways I am giving it to god with faith that he hears me and in his time, in accordance with his will she will stop hurting me.

We have to turn all of our worries and concerns over to him and have faith that he will provide for us. It is hard to do, but the closer you get to him the easier and more natural it becomes.

Cloud, I have to be honest here. Things are really bothering you still, because you are not truly letting go and letting God. Your allowing the actions of others to control you and your emotions still. Instead what you have to do, is when you see something that hurts you, immediately go to God and talk with Him about it, and ask Him to bring you peace in knowing that He is in control, and that He will handle this. As far as providing for your family, yes it is important, but you also have to trust in God that He will help you do this. Once again, your trying to keep too much of these things to yourself, instead of leaning on your Faith, that God will help you. I want to suggest you really allow God to search your heart, and you and He work through why your not willing to let go and let Him work.

Praying for you.

luv ya

Brother cloud, I dunno anyone who, if in the same situation, wouldnt be hurt and angered even, over what is going on in their marriage.

Are you wrong to feel hurt? No way man. You made a covenant with this person, and now it is being threatened. But ... make sure you know who is at the root of this division.

If you can for a moment, take a different look at your wife. See her the way God sees her. What do u see?

Perhaps you see this little girl being lured away by empty promises of happiness and fulfillment... who doesnt realize that she is standing on quicksand and sinking fast... who doesnt understand the hurt she is causing to her husband and kids cuz satan has blinded her to the fact.

Cuz thats what is happening you know.

If the situations were reversed... if it was you doing the things your wife is doing, falling in the traps she is falling into, what would you want her to do for you? Keep reaching for her brother. God is with you.

My prayers are with you and your family.
