Not sure where to post this, but Oasis suggested I share with as many people as I could....so here goes:

While digging through some "stuff", I found the following, none of which were my original words, nor do I know the true authors.

Quotes that were taped to my CPU - 22 Nov 95

Justice -getting what you deserve
Mercy - NOT getting what you deserve
Grace - getting what you don't deserve

I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed.

The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor.

The one who kneels to God can stand up to anything.

Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps if you're not willing to move your feet.

Remember, you reap what you sow. What you put into the lives of others comes back into your own.

Work like you don't need the money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like you do when nobody's watching.

A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself.

When we have faith, no one can ever take it away from us. It is only when we let go of it that we lose it.

When you reach the end of your rope, you will find the hem of HIS garment.


I hope some of these words will bring encouragement to those who read this posting.
