"Funny" thing happened to me today !?!?! , just realized (made real) tho I heard and "knew" the fact that GOD AND HIS WORDS ARE UNCHANGINGING, once He says & does something He doesn't take back His word or actions regardless of what I do. Reading David's action in my 3d step , came to realize that God said to David from u I will have My Child that's how much I love u or wether u like it or not and regardless . BuuuuuT, not the way ur going about it, He's My Child and I'll have Him My way, have a better idea ? Just watch !! ----------- See' the way I understand it (now) is that God had already planned for David & Bethsheeba to have a child that would ultimately bring us Christ anyway, and that Uriah may have died according to His Plan any way ! But, like me, David just jumped the gun & tryed to do it his way ! as ! mentioned in my 2nd step ( "move over God, I'll take it from here) and God said UHU, think so ? another "revelation" for me from this is that God only took the child that David got thru his taking the matter in his own hand, "thru ur sin u have gotten sinful fruit, I didn't bless u for that" so He took away the fruit that would beget like fruit.-------- same w/ me He had already have showered me w/ His Grace & had blessed and forgiven me , but of course I had BETTER ideas and God said UHU, think so ? just watch .------so with that now I stand w/ the conclusion that He is only taking away the fruits of my self-willed actions that would only produce like fruits that are not on God's agenda for me, I'd been granted His Grace, and God doesn't turn from his will regardless wether I turn from Him or not ,He never said I'll give u or I'll continue to give u my grace IF, rather says I had already given it to you so stop whining and get outa my way so maybe you get a chance to Enjoy it. ----- I think I wrote enough---- but in closing here's my thought for the day for anyone intested---- being a recovering alcoholic (10yrs) I (used) to suffer from alcoholism (now by God's Grace I recover from it instead) anyway this is something I will use next time I go on a speaking engagement. It goes something like this. God tells me "You do my will I'll let u live peacefully", alcoholism (my unaided will) says " You'd better do what He says or I'll kill you". Love y'all may God bless you & keep you----------------- vahn [/u]

Vahn, you said it my friend, God will never leave us nor forsake us. We sometimes stray, and many times we try and do things our way, but ultimately He will bring us back from our straying if we will just seek Him out and surrender to Him. That's the most difficult part...just turning our life over completely and totally to the Lord. Now mind you we will fall down, but if we do, we have to get back up. Laying there in our fallen stay won't bring anything but more pain. We need to reach out from this pain and seek Jesus hand and ask Him to pull us back up.

Keep up the search in yourself, and allow God to bring you back into the fullness of the Light. The pathway is there, and He wants to walk with you down it.

Take care my friend.

luv ya

Awwww vahn! Made me smile! Been there, done that.

It's so refreshing to surrender your will to Him and let Him guide you. He knows what's best for us and for all the people around us.

Luv ya, vahn. God bless you!

My resolution for today, next month, and years to come is to be further from the world and closer to the Word.
