For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38 (NKJV)

the girl lay on her bed sobbing. her daddy heard her as he walked down the hallway, towards his room. he stopped outside her door, surprised at the intensity behind her sobs. he knocked softly and when he heard her muffled, come in,

So cool. I wish my dad had an emotional connection besides numbness.

Childs my dear, sometimes we beat our father's up for not being there, and of course there is no excuse for abuse, but being absent emtionally sometimes is just the way they are, as we grow up we see that from a different prospective

we see other ways that they show love, maybe it's somthing that has been like that in the family before, who knows, but i do know this, that in this situation, we need to realise that we cannot change our earthly father, but we can love him, from God's love that is in our hearts, and allow His love to heal us,

we need to move on and know that THE FATHER, is here to gather us in His arms and fill that void that is there from your dad's lack he showed you, it's just making up our mind to not allow the past to influence the future

sorry child's i'm not trying to tell you it does'nt matter, cause I know that fathers, especially with daughters, have an influence on us, if we have love from our dad's and secure int hat, then we can wait for the right man to come into our lives..so many are looking for that void to be filled and end up with the first male that show attention, and ends in disaster, i'm not saying that about you child's..i guess i'm just sharing from my heart to anyone who it will help..love ya child's and God bless
I hear you
