This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

Well, I told my friend he had to be helping by end of August or he would have to go. He said he could tell the stress was wearing on me and he knew that I had helped all I could. I am always in the hole before the next check just trying to stay on top of things. He said why can't u just say we'll work it out. I told him that I could not continue to do it by myself. In order for him to stay I needed his help too and that he also needed to help himself. He's sad about it but seems accepting at this point. It has something to do with the car that he has as I guess the repo people are looking for it. Yet he knows that if he got a job even if the car went back we would work out transportation somehow. So, it ended with me telling him I was sorry but I could not continue to keeping us up on my own, that i needed his help or he would have to go because I cannot continue going into the hole and that something had to give somewhere that it was just too much. He just shook his head like ok, and is acting all pitiful. I guess the ball is in his court now. I cant make him look for work. Its up to him. I feel kinda bad. But I know something has to give somewhere and I think he is realizing it too. Where it goes from here, I dont know but will just continue to pray and hope for the best.
