Heyas ALL

Before I post my poem ... Y'all just got *Glomped*

Ok
I wrote this this morning. I have been going through a bit of a rough time this week and this poem sorta explains it.

*Halo*

darkness encroaches
on a soul laid bare
stark
enticing
invasive

gnarled talons clutch
at the vulnerability within
cold
calculating
vicious

fear rises
stifles the remnants of hope
but I cling
desperate
beaten

I wait

Brightness explodes
with piercing force
penetrating
consuming
gentle

Love seeps in
to every hidden corner
permeating
setting free
bringing life

I like when you said "But I cling"

I see that hope in you. The flame might be dim... but it will blazing again soon enough.
