A Prayer For Our Nation
Hello Christianity Oasis, All...
Blessings!
Pss.33
[12] Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD:
1Tim.2
[1] I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
[2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
[3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
[4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
[5] For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Heb.4
[16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
If ever there was a time in the history of our nation when supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for the leaders of our country and all in authority it is now. Why? We are facing an extreme time of crisis among our leaders. They are failing us miserably. Why? We are not praying for them as we should. I am not praying for them as I should. Such must be remedied immediately and with urgency. And it is for that reason the Holy Spirit has placed this burden upon my heart to share such petitions with you either on our knees or on our face, prostrate before God in all humility.
Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus we humble ourselves before you in your presence at the Throne of Grace, pleading the blood of Jesus, asking for your grace and mercy be given us in the form of forgiveness and cleansing of all unrighteousness for our failure to be obedient to your word in supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all men, especially the leaders of our country, the United States of America. We have failed them and you in these matters and lawlessness in our nation has become the result of it. And thus we morn sorrowfully before you, knowing you have opened a new and living way for us through the blood of Jesus, making way for us to right our wrong before you in turning away from our wickedness in these matters, giving thanks that you hear us now as we petition you for grace and mercy for all men and all in authority, that they might receive your counsel by your Spirit to do righteousness in your eyes, so that we your people may once again rejoice that you have placed the righteous in power in this land.
And furthermore Heavenly Father, the Lord our God, we take up the authority you have given us in the mighty name of Jesus to bind the powers of evil deceiving our leaders, loosening them from their assignments, binding them from doing more harm to our country, and demanding of them that they depart. And at the same time, dearest Heavenly Father, the Lord our God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we loose your Holy Spirit and your mighty angels into the midst of the leaders of this nation; for this purpose, to turn their hearts back to you, that your righteous judgments may be accomplished through them once again, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
