Christianity Oasis Forum

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

A Prayer of Thanksgiving and of Glory to God

Postby saint701 » Wed Jun 17, 2020 1:06 pm

Good afternoon Christianity Oasis, All...
*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

The Lord laid this word on my heart for all to consider. Just how often do we reflect upon the majesty of God before our eyes in nature? How often do we rise in the morning and reflect upon all our Lord's physical provisions for us, the son, the moon, the stars; the green grass, the lovely trees and flowers; the fountains and springs of water; the waterfalls, the lakes, oceans, and streams; the towering snow-capped mountains; the plush fields and valleys? And just how often do we give thanks for the many different varieties of foods we're blessed with on our tables each day; the milk and honey, the fruits and grains, the meat and vegetables? Let us praise and thank God and give Him glory each and every time we see His Awesome Hand in nature so that we may not be a partaker of the coming plagues. In Jesus name, I pray, and give thanks! Amen and amen.
Rev.8
[7] The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
[8] And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
[10] And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
[12] And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Amen!

Awesome Word of God!

Thank you, Saint701, and thank You Holy Spirit!

Twenty+ years ago God impressed upon my heart to take more time to smell the roses and to take notice of all the beauty and blessings He has given us here on earth. And, to take notice of being grateful -- a spirit of gratitude. Our daily meal prayers became even more important and heartfelt as He opened up our understanding and hearts to Him all the more. His blessings abound! God is so very Good, all the time.

At this moment, I'm grateful for your post.

God bless and keep you, Saint701,
Mack
