Yes Gods will be done. God says hate is wrong and it is. But have you noticed thath God mention hate twice in scripture in shall we say in a curious way. In proverbs 29 it says the righteous hate the wicked and the wicked hate the righteous. God doesn't says this is right its just a matter of fact. Than in the book of eclastics it says there is a time to hate. Seems like God would say there is never time to hate. Also God says thath king David was a many after his own heart. David is real but not very loving towards the pagan people in the land. He talks about taking the pagans babies and dashing them against the rocks. He says blessed are those thath do this. This is in psalms it is towards the end of the book of psalms. David is acting more like us humans not loving than like God who is always loving. King David when he was dying was talking to his son Solomon and he said thath he let one of his enemies live in peace while he was alive but he told Solomon after his death he was to make sure this enemy was to meet a blooded death. King David sounds a lot more like us than God. Maybe it just proves king David was just like us. It still doesn't make it right to sin. Would like to know what you think about these things about king David. God bless you!!! Remember you in my prayers. Craig

Hello Manofprayer777 (Craig)

God bless you this day.

I'm sorry to hear that you won't be returning to this site. I hope you will reconsider. There is no reason you cannot continue to visit this site, and also visit others sites too. Our communication has been sweet as it focused/focuses on our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

As far as your question about David and the Bible verses that speak of hate, I offer this for your consideration. God is omniscient (all-knowing). We are not. We do have access to The Lord through His Word (The Bible) and also from The Holy Spirit's indwelling whereas He leads us to understanding we wouldn't have on our own. And this is an on-going process until we meet The Lord face to face in eternity.

David was one of God's prophets and did have access to The Holy Spirit. However, David still had "the flesh" to contend with, just as we do. Hate is very much a human condition. God hates evil, and He is omniscient and can judge fairly. We cannot because of the influence of the sinful condition that still remains in us and will until we go to Heaven.

As many of us have been told: "hate the sin, but not the sinner." I admit however, sometimes that is a huge challenge. I thank The Lord for His grace and...

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

God bless and keep you,
Mack

Sister mack I am confused??? The quote love the sinner and hate the sin. People will say of a individual well he or she is not a evil person they just did evil thing. There is a old saying if it walks like a duck quakes like a duck it's a duck. Jesus said you will know them by there fruits right??? The apostle Paul says hate what is evil stand on the side of good. If you do evil behavior most of the time your evil. I case you haven't guessed most of the time my walk with God is not sweet but angry and frustrating. My soul wish when I close my eyes in death is thath I will have a heart of love and forgiveness for everyone thath has wronged me in life. I want to be like my master jesus there is s hym thath says when jesus came from heaven he emptied him self of everything but love. I want to be like thath. Your friend in christ. Craig

Hello Manofprayer777 (Craig),

God bless you this day.

Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Note: without dissimulation means to love sincerely, genuinely -- we shouldn't be two-faced. I suppose if we don't feel the love...then we need to seek love and perform the things that represent love. God is love, and The Holy Spirit indwells us and one of the gifts of the Spirit is love, so we have access to God's love.

Yes, we should avoid evil. And if we find we can't resist behaving uncomely towards someone who is not yet enlightened and be a positive influence on them, we should separate ourselves from them and continue to seek God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit until we feel better able to represent our Saviour Christ Jesus.

I've sensed that about you, Craig, and I have compassion for you. I can relate. I first accepted Christ Jesus as my personal Saviour when I was in my 30s. For the next 22 years, I saw subtle changes in my life, but not very many people would have identified me as a Born Again Christian, if asked. I functioned, but I was very depressed, fearful and as a result...very, very angry. I had begun relying on anger to help me fight fear. And as a result, I was miserable. I prayed and prayed for things to change, but a year turned to 5, then 10, then 22. Then one night I came across this site, and started reading the blessed studies on this site. Within a few months, I learned that I could actually have a relationship with The Holy Spirit and access the power of God and His blessed fruit.

Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

I also prayed for a passion for reading The Word of God...The Bible, and He answered my prayers. Fourteen years and 4 months later I can honestly state that I've not been depressed since. Yes, I still have lots of challenges in this life, but I now choose to take it to Him in prayer, rather than allow fear to have it's way in me because I forfeited peace. Just like the hymn "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" says

What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
And what a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer

Oh, what peace we often forfeit
Oh, what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Your wish is beautiful, Craig, and God Himself placed that desire within you. He loves you. I just want to encourage you that you do not need to continue to forfeit God's peace until you get to Heaven. The Holy Spirit indwells you and He has love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control in abundance to provide you.

Here is a link to 3 studies from this site about The Holy Spirit that had such a profound impact on my life.
http://www.christianityoasis.com/Keyword/HolySpirit.htm
http://www.christianityoasis.com/Temple ... efault.htm
http://www.christianityoasis.com/Spirit ... tepOne.htm

The first 2 are fairly short in length. The third one "Spirit of Truth" can be read in 7 installments.

Prayers continue to rise to The Lord in the name of Jesus on your behalf, Craig. God The Father's will be done.

God bless and keep you,
Mack

God bless you. You have been a sister in christ to me thank you for everything. Its been said about the Christian life or walk it's not a sprint but a marathon!!! So many times I have wanted to give up and not get up in the morning but God has been so good to me and brought be through each storm and trail. Praise his name!!! Our God is faithful!!! Jesus told us the storms in life would come and beat across the walls of the house but this house would stand because its foundation is Jesus christ our lord. The other house would collapse with a might sound because her foundation is not jesus christ her lord. Amazing grace says through many dangerous toils and snares I have already come grace has lead me safe thous far and grace will lead me home!!! All praise and glory and honor to the lamb on the throne. Our God is faithful he will see us through the gates of Zion!!! Your brother in christ. Craig

Craig,
Welcome.
My answer is simple. The Bible has the answers. It will reveal the Truth. Man are human and the Churches are not perfect.
II dont agree with everything Churches do or say.
My main thing is the Salvation of their soul.
Love is God's Son: Jesus.
May you continue you seek His faith. Gal. 6:33
