Hi Mackenaw. *Wave*

We Catholics believe that Mother Mary remained a virgin.

We can not serve two masters. What are they?

Hello Everyone *Greet*
Hello Notforgotten *Wave*

Thank you, Notforgotten, for sharing that information about the Catholic teaching about the Virgin Mary. I had no idea, and I certainly do not want to pit one church's teachings against another. I wish now that I had worded the question, differently...such as: Does The Bible indicate that Jesus had siblings?

And I would respond: Yes.
Matthew 13:55-56
55) Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56) And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

Mark 6: Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

We can not serve two masters. What are they?

the answer is God and mammon

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Hello ya all. *Wave*

Where in the Bible does it say that God used a donkey to rebuke a man?

2 Peter 2:15-16. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet.

Hello Everyone *Greet*

Amen, Notforgotten. Amen!

Also, if anyone is interested in reading an interesting Bible story, which includes the talking donkey, check out Numbers chapter 22.

What did God breathe into man's nostrils in the beginning?

Answer: God breathed the "breath of life".

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Does the Bible say if any of the original 12 Apostles were siblings?

My best guess would be Peter and Andrew. And James and John.

Mathew 10:2. These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;

Complete the bible verse;

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;

What does The Bible tell us about Ananias and Sapphira?

God killed them both for lying.

Where in scripture does it say that Jesus would leave the flock to find that one lost sheep?

Hello Everyone :)

God bless you this day!

Yes, Notforgotten, they were found guilty in their sin, and God struck them down, and life left them.

I find that story astounding, given that Ananias and Sapphira were not the first to tell a lie, and most of mankind has lied since that time. It's a good story to read about, and meditate on, and perhaps a good topic for a group discussion. And for those of you reading this that are not familiar with the story...check out Acts 5:1-11.

In the blessed Word of God, we find Matthew 18:12 and Luke 15:4. Both of these verses and the verses just before and after the named verses, speak about Jesus leaving the 99 to find the 1 lost.

*ReadBible* God's Word is so Good and good to meditate upon, and good to share.

Deuteronomy 8:3
3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

Matthew 4:4
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

The greatest is love according to scripture

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Hello Everyone :)
Hello Mlg *hug*

You asked:
In God's Revelation to John, who did John see under the altar when the fifth seal was opened and what did they cry out?

My answer: John saw the souls of those that were slain while serving The Lord by sharing God's Word and sharing their testimony of Him. And, they cried out to The Lord asking how much longer before their death's would be avenged by God's judgment.

Revelation: 6: 9-10
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

According to The Bible, what is the mark of the beast?

"According to The Bible, what is the mark of the beast?"

666

Revelation 13:16-18 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

Who was it that temporarily lost his voice for doubting an angel concerning the birth of John the Baptist?
