Hello Carter,

Welcome to Christianity Oasis! We are glad God has led you here to seek help from the temptations you are facing. Here is the link to the Oasis counseling program. It is a 14 day program and a path of healing. www.christianityoasis.com/cccc/forum.htm

You will not find judgement here. Only love and support from Christians who also suffer from their own trials and temptations. May you be encouraged on your journey.

Take care
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Carter it is wonderful to see you have made it to day 13. Just know that you are well on your way to winning this battle. The fight is a journey. Sometimes it can be a lifelong journey, but with each passing day that you are able to withstand temptation, your ability to do so will become even stronger. Jesus will be there beside you always, and He will help you with these feelings if you call out to Him. Jesus loves you and wants to help you.

Take care and God Bless

What do i do when family ask "Why you don't have a girlfriend yet?" or other questions that may question my sexuality? I couldn't possibly tell them my situation they just wouldn't understand.

Hi Carter,

Maybe tell them the truth....that you are focusing on strengthening your relationship with God. That they will understand.

Carter what are some things you are doing to refocus your thoughts?

I'm not going to tell them that

Some things I do to refocus my thoughts are reading, cry, think about how bad my feelings are, stay away from people (although I wouldn't have a choice even if I tried to meet people), sing church music, read the bible, pray, sing, etc.

Hi Carter,

I see you turn to some Godly things, which is always a great choice as it is where you will find peace. Keep seeking the things of the Lord and you will find the feelings of sinful thought fade away.

God Bless you
