Re: Jobs and physical pain
Thank you! I do feel Him leading. It is very scary as I don't see the steps to take but I hear His voice. At least it sounds like His and feels like His voice. It seems like I shouldn't have any anxiety over it then but I do as where I am working is a very difficult place to work right now. I am very anxious for change as I am at times physically sick from all the anxiety it causes to work in that environment. It seems like He is saying He will bring change soon to just wait on Him.
The pain is better but the docs trippled my pain meds. I quit the one job that I never felt was Gods will for me to take. After quitting there my chronic shoulder pain went away.
Today someone approached me about job shadowing them in the area I am taking college classes for. That was encouraging.

Re: Jobs and physical pain
Pine, I've been there before many times. And I'm there again. I have to remind myself that just because it doesn't seem like anything is happening does not mean that the Lord isn't working. Looking back a few months, I can also see where the Lord knew what my current situation was going to be months ago, long before I did and how he was already working getting things prepared for where I am right now. Hope that makes sense.

Pine, I just wanted to touch base and let you know that I'm still praying for you. I know how chronic severe pain can affect your life. I also wanted to mention that when you're tense, worried, stressed, anxious, the pain is worse.

Re: Jobs and physical pain
Thank you! I have been working a lot of hours. 10-15 a day. Today I put in my letter of resignation because the boss flipped out and threw his knife. He work in a kitchen. He just threw it into the sink but he threw it hard and threw it out of anger. The sink was what was in front of him so the sink took the brunt of his anger. What if he hadn't been working at the sink. He has a horrible issue with anger and has no respect for me because of my love for God. Everyone has quit with in the last week because of him except one other person. She is knew but sees he has issues. So now I am jobless. I'm scared. But I'm reminded of someones words about how I was jobless before I got this job.

Pine, The Lord already has another job for you. You just aren't aware of it, yet. The Lord doesn't close a door unless He opens a window. Know what I mean ? I don't know when the Lord will reveal your new job to you. But remember that He knew what was going to happen with the job you just resigned from before you were even aware there was a job there. Don't allow the enemy to make this time more difficult for you by giving you a spirit of fear and worry. Praying for you Sweetie.

Re: Jobs and physical pain
I am so excited! My prayer has been that I could have a job with a group of people who are a team. People who are there for each other instead of out to put a knife in each others back. AND I have been hired by the Postal Service. One town can only give me a day or two a week but another very close town has offered me the opportunity to fill in the other days in their post office. I've been in their facilities both days and it seems like a place where they are a team and have each others back. I am so excited and I feel so filled with hope.
