Don't know if any other fellas have contributed to this page,so thought i'd be the first,maybe i will start a new trend
So Here's a gut buster idea from my younger bachelor pad days,the surprise is you can add any ingredient you fancy,and the taste is always a surprise
Its a fun way to experiment with food,for those of us who haven't a clue in the kitchen
Here's one of my favorites.

1/Pour one tin of baked beans into a large measuring jug.
2/Cut half a pound of chedder or what ever your fave cheese is up into cubes, and add to the beans.
3/Place half a pound of butter into the mix.
4/Dice half a dozen jarred hot dog sausages, and add them to the mix.
5/Now Slice a tomato up and also add to the mix.
6/Finally pour one packet of instant potato mash granules over it all.
7/Now pour boiling water into the mix and stir vigorously until the fork can stand up on it own.
8/When it is at the consistency of your liking,scrape out the jug onto a plate and flatten down with with the fork to cover the whole platter,then microwave for one and a half to two minutes.
9/Sprinkle basil or Rosemary to give it a touch of finesse

And Voila, Trues answer to Cordon bleu or BLEURGH depending on how your experiment turns out
Seriosly though It's really tasty,takes minutes to make and is ideal for young Mr or Miss Single, who is always on the move.
Or you can marry someone who can cook which is even better because then you don't have to worry about any more culinary surprises,except nice ones

interesting recipe....you forgot at the end (after seeing the half lb of butter and cheese!) to insure you have the paramedics on speed dial! hehe

sounds like something my hub would love ....but tell me exactly how much is in a measuring bag? I only have cups!

Ahhhhhhh who cares about measurements a large jug or bowl whatever,just toss all the ingredients in and give it a stir, its more fun that way

Too funny! Never had such a good chuckle over a recipe and it's comments.

My husband makes a kick butt pot of baked beans. No pun intended there. He takes a couple different types of canned baked beans and some maple syrup. Cooks till thick. Everyone loves them. It's a sweater baked bean that what you have going on here bro. I'm thinking I'd like to try this recipe. I'm curious to what the instant mashed potatoes does to it besides thicken it. Do the potatoes take on the flavor of the beans. Hmmmm maybe some bacon too. Naw! Then we are getting to difficult for me.

Hehehe well its all about having fun with the food sis,experiment go on add the bacon why not,fill ya boots hehe.
By the way every thing blends in together, beans mash the lot.
