Re: Christmas ornaments
I love love love the snowmen!
I like the yellowing in the santas. Makes him look a little ruff around the edges.
I've been wowed!

Re: Christmas ornaments
thanks Pine. santas sell well :D A friend and I have a cottage bussiness called "Breads and Spreads". She makes the jams and such. Every other month we have a coffee klach and have goodies to sample, and i always have a few ornaments as well. In Feb the featured bread is baguettes, and she's making spaghetti sauce, as an alternative to sweet valentines. My ornaments are:
Elliot the sheep.
Baby angel from polymer clay.
This venture has been lots of fun and I'm learning creative packaging as well. And who doesn't love to get friends together for food and coffee?

Re: Christmas ornaments
I am very impressed with the polymer clay angel. Wowed even!
I love Elliot. I typed Ellinore then had to go back and check to see if I had his name right? Anyhoo he is adorable and who wouldn't love him! We've made a craft in daycare that's a bit simular but pipecleaners for legs and a flat face. With those googly eye balls. The kids would eat there eye balls and pull until they got their legs off. Thus why we have made them and are no longer making them. They weren't as professional as your Elliots but cute and made my children. Oh they had a tiny bell around their neck. I think I could maybe make an Elliot of my own sometime if it's ok I borrow your design.
I am so thrilled God has blessed you with such talent. Thanks for sharing. It blesses me.

Re: Christmas ornaments
Sounds like you do a lot with those lil kids.
I've been paper crafting lately. I've discovered 'pockets', little folded paper thingys that hold 'tags' you can personalize and give as an alternative to a card.
First I made tea pockets as valentines from a pattern found in the basement. Someone had received it one year with a package of cocoa in it:
After that I was hooked, and made Abbie and Robin their own special valentines:
Abbie got a tag card:
And Robin got a tea pocket and a distressed pocket:
When a friend gave me an old falling-apart hymnal, I made some 'song pockets':
This is my past time while I can't get out to the paint shed. It keeps me sane in these days of watching my parents slowly lose the ability to do as they once did. Old age isn't kind or fun, but they (especially mom) are dealing gracefully- most days .
Anyway, thank you for your interest. I tried numerous times to post this, but IE wouldn't let me post here. I had to switch to firefox.
Love ya.
Kim

Re: Christmas ornaments
Are they made of paper or a thin cardboard? I am in awe over them.

Re: Christmas ornaments
Thanks. I was the only one home when he passed. It was weird and yet right...don't know how to explain it. Everyone got what they hoped for. He didn't want to die alone in some hospital, I wanted to be there, but mom didn't, and my brother didn't want him to die while he was out of the country this summer. I wanted it to be easy and un-traumatic for him, and it was-- though he never quit working towards staying alive. He's not missing this earth now.
