Hi. I am so new at this, but am going to give it a shot. spent the last 2 weeks dealing with some major lying to people who care about me.( Did tell the truth) Plus dealing with major depresssion. Lord I just want to get better. I hated lying to them but in my mind I was protecting myself. I didn't want to see that I was hurting them as well as myself. How do I stand up for myself when I can't stand up to my mom?

Hi bbg, I am new to this also, I can def relate to you. We are in spiritual war and the enemy wants nothing but to steal our joy , as I am walking also in renewing my mind its not easy. I believe The Lord has a plan for you keep the faith as my self there's something much bigger. God bless you
