Hello ^^

Postby Andrew137 » Mon Jul 16, 2012 2:04 pm

Hey, i'm a new member here, and i am also new to Christianity. I was raised by an Atheist family (17 now), so i have always been taught this is all a lie, but my friend convinced me to try praying, and after about a week of praying on and off, my prayers were finally answered. There is now no doubt in my mind about God, and i want to do all i can to prove i was worth saving.

Hello,
First thank you very much for the welcome.
HisSummerRose, i actually am from NH (the land of no sales tax ^^)
realmg, Thank you for the welcome, and i have been reading the Bible in order (have only been reading for 4 days now i think, and i'm about a 1/2 through Leviticus). I have heard from a lot of people to read John though, so i think i will need to read that before continuing, because i should really know the story of Jesus.
Thank you again c:

WELCOME brother!!!
*band* *Clap* *bravo*
It is so good to hear those words from you!
you are about to open a whole new world and see the love of God that DOES change lives.
I do not know if others here will agree but as a new convert I would suggest to get a bible that has both niv (new international version and (The message) in parralel with each other, it will allow you to compare in easy terms to make it easier to understand the word, this helped me tremendiously and I still use it today.
I say this only to encourage you to read and easily understand that which you read.
Welcome to the Oasis and I cannot wait to hear more from you!
