The Rock for a rocky road

Postby JohnR » Mon Jun 25, 2012 2:25 am

Day 29 & I’m concerned about the coming week. I want everybody to know that since starting this program 29 days ago I have pretty much stuck with the program. As you all know I have been less than perfect but I haven’t viewed any porn, drank, smoked, & my time viewing secular TV has been greatly reduced while spending most of my time on this & other Christian sites & listening to Christian messages/music. I tell you this to assure you all that I’m serious & really do want my relationship with the Lord work. My prayer life is still not where I would like it to be (at least once a day) or my time in the Word per se (just what I read in my studies on the net) but I’m trying. Yesterday was my busy day as we have multiple accounts on Saturday. I was still pretty tired from working on the house all day Friday plus not getting much sleep that I didn’t do much as far as my studies or posting yesterday. Much of our check this week is spent already (we get paid today) so I’m going to have to cancel my doctor’s appointment. As you all know I have been having trouble sleeping so that means I won’t be getting anything to help me with that PLUS I won’t get a refill for my pain killers so that will just make a bad situation worse! BUT & this is a big but I BELIEVE CHRIST CAN HEAL ME!!! I’m asking everybody to please ask God to heal me of my restlessness, the pain in my back, & the uneasy feeling I will have w/o my pain killers.
Mark 11:24 - Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
"Lord, I am not worthy. But only say the word, and I will be healed.”
"Be of good cheer, your faith has made you well."
Thank you Jesus!

God Bless

Praying for you JohnR.
Have you done the Spirit of truth study? If you havn't yet you should give it a go. It will help bring you closer to God. I am on day 2 of the study and I have already learned so much. It leaves me feeling wonderful and closer to Him every day.

God Bless You

Hello JohnR :)

God bless you this day.

I join in lifting up prayers to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's blessed and perfect will be done.

Amen, JohnR, The Lord is our Healer. JohnR, try not to look at canceling your doctor's appointment or even being without your pain meds as a punishment, but as an opportunity to see God's miraculous power at work. Stand in faith!!! Believe only!!!

I am someone that has no health insurance and I have witnessed, firsthand (in myself and in family memebers), God's amazing healing power. Thank You Jesus!!! And, in those areas where we continue to await our complete healing, His grace is sufficient, if we will just BELIEVE!!!

JohnR, congratulations on your recoveries, and Praise The Lord!!! Hallelujah!!! We serve an awesome God. He loves you, JohnR, so even on those tougher days, stay the course...His, and Believe!!!

God bless and keep you, JohnR.
Love,
Mack
