Day 2

Postby grandma dolittle » Thu Jun 14, 2012 10:16 pm

I know that health issues drag me down because there are days that I can't get outside in my yard and flowers. I know satan uses my health to cause me to stop reading the Word as I should and sometimes it is hard to pray. I know the Lord is there and is carrying me and will help me out of my slump. This is also hard for me because I am a private person and sometimes my pride gets in my way.

Hi grandma!

I am new here too and I totally understand you. I have been in pain physically for the past few days and it got me in the slump...until I started to just praise God. It is easier said than done but I was so desperate I just had to let go...and I am comforted in the fact that the God of universe knows my pain and He will help me through it. May God strengthen you and give you peace... praying for you... :)

Thank you for your prayers. My pain could be better if I used the pain pills, but I don't until it interfers with my sleep. I don't want things to cloud my mind. I don't understand a drug addict who likes to live in a daze. I want to see my Lord return with a clear mind. I will pray for your pain too.

1st praise that Lord that you don't abuse your pain medication because you are very blessed that it doesn't affect you like that. My mother (God rest her soul) felt the same way & also didn't like the idea of a loss of control or being in a fog! Unfortunitly I wasn't so blessed & have to fight the urge to take too many pain pill as I too suffer from cronic pain. Keep at the program there is so much to learn & some great tools.
As you already know God is always with you as we are too! *hug*
I pray that He lifts you up & gives you healing. Next time Satan bothers you tell him to leave in the name of Jesus!
God Bless

Keep on Prayin!!!
