Day 5

Postby David » Fri Jun 01, 2012 12:36 am

Dang, I have a lot of problems! (said with a smile). I am reminded of what a friend of mine said to me about 2 years ago. He said to me "Dave, I don't know how you handle all your problems, you have alot!". Now this comes from a man that has worked as a lobbyist at the UN (basically against the UN), recently divorced, his $2 million/ year business dissolved and on the verge of losing his ranch. I have a couple of sins I am still in the process of giving up to the Lord and yeah, I'm selfish. The good news is yesterday the Lord put a longing in my heart to return to school. I have had a desire to get into studio audio engineering. Today I have been in just a fog all day, cannot think clearly. I did spend a few hours with an ex girlfriend today, helping her with her car. She is the most recent "loss". We dated for about a year. When winter came, so did the addition of seasonal depression and it took it's toll. I hold alot of guilt in that because I became very close to her 5 year old son. I miss him and he misses me. We have remained friends, although it has been tough. The good thing is that I found out she was talking with someone on eharmony for a couple of weeks and she tells me I'm the only one that was excited and happy for her. I am thankful for all the support I have received here. Hoping I can come spend more time here soon. Bless you all!

God bless you David; I pray for God's touch of healing upon your heart and life, and deliverance for both of us from depression and self destructive thoughts and habits. Keep up the good work!

Hello David,

“There is no such thing as a problem without a gift for you in its hands. You seek problems because you need their gifts.”

"Nothing happens by chance, my friend... No such thing as luck. A meaning behind every little thing, and such a meaning behind this. Part for you, part for me, we may not see it all real clear right now, but we will, before long."

~Richard Bach

Just a few quotes i decided to share that have helped me to understand why "problems" ( or is it my illusion of a problem and is it just a situation that I am not wanting to occur at that time) occur in my life.

Something to think about *Whistle*

God bless
♥Jill
