Need a miracle
Please pray that my husband will be more compassionate. If I am having a problem or hurt or issue and it is something that wouldn't hurt or be a problem for him he comes down on me really hard about it or says really insensative things and I wish so much that he could be a safe loving place for me to go when I hurt. Then I shut down because when it gets to that point anything I say will make him more upset and he won' t even try to see or even ask why I am upset or anything he just assumes it's all my fault. He refuses to see how he could have any part in anything. We had a terrible day with this yesterday and i literally had a neverous breakdown. I had something that was really hurting me and then he said a bunch of insensitive things and I had a bunch of panic attacks. Please pray that God will help this problem.

Hello Notjustanumber (((hugs)))
God bless you this day. It is good to see you posting again -- it has been a while.
It sounds like you and your husband are similar in that you both don't know how to handle things emotionally, and at those times, it really gets the best of ya. (((hugs))) The thing is, your emotions get weepy, and his emotions get creepy (angry), over the same challenge -- whatever the challenge may be.
The good news is, God can help you both to overcome your carnal emotions. Yes, He Can!!! Yeah!!! Thank You Lord!!!
We all have moments that our emotions get the better of us. I wish it weren't so, but alas, it happens. However, if we turn to The Lord in those times, with the hope of being renewed, The Lord will renew us, and the carnal emotion, whatever it is or in whatever form it is, will dissolve in the presence of The Lord. Be aware, however, that sometimes our carnal self wants to hold onto those negative emotions. Weird, huh? Yep, our old sinful nature can be so odd, and ornery, and our old carnal/sinful nature desires to hold on to offenses against us, even if they are all imagined. That's another "Beware" ...Satan loves to whisper "what ifs" -- having us fret and worry.
The Holy Spirit will nudge us, reminding us that we have a new life in Christ. The new man/woman no longer has to be prisoner to our old carnal emotions. Jesus set us Free. Hallelujah!!!
Notjustanumber (((hugs))) I'm sorry you've been weepy lately. It is going to be alright. The Holy Spirit, The Comforter, is right there with you, and He will give you peace and joy, if you will ask Him. He loves you so very much.
Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf, and on behalf of your husband. May God's blessed will be done.
God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack
