[Amazingrace]

~~When I say that I'm a Christian......~~~

When I say, "I'm a Chrsitian.
I'm not shouting, "I'm saved!!!"
I'm wispering, "I was lost."
"That's why I choose His way."

When I say, "I'm a Christian."
I don't speak of this with pride,
I'm confessing I stumble,
Needing God to be my guide.

When I say, "I'm a Christian.
I'm not bragging of my success,
I'm admitting that I've failed
And cannot ever repay the debt.

When I say, "I'm a Christian."
I don't admit to know it all,
I'm submitting to my confusion,
Asking humbly to be taught.

When I say, "I'm a Christian."
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are visible,
But God believes I'm worth it.

When I say, "I'm a Christian."
I still feel the sting of betrayal and pain,
I have my share of heartaches,
Which is why I seek His Name.

When I say, "I'm a Chrsitian."
I have no place to judge,
I have no authority,
I only know....

That I am loved,
And accepted,
A princess,
Beautiful and ever precious in His sight!!!

i wrote this with one of my friends several years ago. I love poetry and write a lot of it. I pray this piece blesses you. i hope to share more in the future.
