My Journal entry #13

Postby Bones » Wed Jan 25, 2012 1:27 pm

Well, this is what usually happens. I start something and then get distracted. I've been distracted for several days now. But I'm determined to finish this. I have let many things get in the way of me spending time with God. I hate that, but it seems to happen alot. I am going to work on focusing on Him today. And hopefully tomorrow I will do the same! And the next day and so on.
Today's step is telling me to go to the chat room. Hopefully there are people over there, every time I've been there noone else was. If you read this soon after I post it, feel free to join me :)

Bones *hug* Welcome back to the path. Just a little detour there. Nothing huge. :) I don't think God is a God that sits and counts the moments we're away from Him as much as He reflects on the moments we are together. *Picturing a mom tapping her foot and watching her watch as she waits for her daughter who's past curfew to get home.* No I don't think God's like that. I think He's more like the dad that sits on the edge of his seat praying we're ok then rejoices when we walk in the door.

Enjoy your time together and don't waste time in sorrow for the moments spent with out God. Just move forward. God knows us well and He knows our downfalls and limitations as well as our distractions. They don't cause His love and acceptance of us to pause. He's just good like that.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
